Buying From The Seed Connect in the USA
The Seed Connect is a domestic US shop, so there is no customs step and no international transit. Its shipping policy says every order goes out by USPS from its facility in Arizona to any of the 50 states, with a USPS tracking number on every parcel. Its terms of service state plainly that it ships within the United States only, so buyers in Canada, the UK, Europe or Australia cannot order.
The terms also set a minimum age of 21 and describe the seeds as “adult novelty souvenirs” sold “for genetic preservation purposes”, adding that germinating them may be illegal where you live and that checking the law is the buyer’s responsibility. Who The Seed Connect Is
The company behind the shop is Seed Connect LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. The Arizona Corporation Commission business register lists it under document number 23210799, formed in April 2021, with status Active. The address on its contact page is 3030 S Rural Rd #104 in Tempe, and Google lists a “Seed Connect” store at the same address, open 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The Better Business Bureau profile, filed under the name “Marijuana Seed Connect”, lists Seed Connect LLC as an alternate name, gives a business start date of April 15, 2021 and still shows an earlier Tempe address on E University Dr.
A team page on the site presents the founder as the shop’s lead strain researcher. The About page says the company curates and breeds genetics in-house and tests what it sells; those are the company’s own claims, and we could not check them independently. Through an optional round-up at checkout, customers can donate to the DeSanto Centre for the Deaf in Livingstone, Zambia, which the shop supports as its charity partner.
Catalog and Seed Types
The catalog is large. On October 22, 2026 the store had 776 product listings: 466 feminized, 247 autoflower and 63 regular, of which 469 were in stock. The range mixes classics such as Green Crack, Gorilla Glue, Sour Diesel and Northern Lights with modern names like Bacio Gelato (listed with Sherbinskis as breeder) and Biscotti, plus 55 listings that name The Seed Connect itself as breeder. Filters cover high THC, high yield, beginner-friendly and fast-flowering strains, and a strain finder and compare tool help narrow things down. Each product page has a “Breeder” field, but the attributions vary in precision. Some name one breeder, while roughly 200 of the in-stock listings use combined or general labels such as “Various Breeders”, “FastBuds / Generic Seed Banks” or “White Label / Sensi Seeds”. If getting a specific breeder’s original release matters to you, ask support before you order.
Black African Magic, sometimes described as a Seed Connect exclusive, is listed at 22% THC with “Sensi Seeds (Legacy Genetics)” as breeder, alongside a regular version and Purple African Magic. We found nothing on the site that presents it as an exclusive.
Prices and Pack Sizes
Strains come in packs of 3, 6, 12 and 24 seeds. Almost every in-stock product shows a crossed-out list price next to a lower current price. These are the prices on the product pages on October 22, 2026, before any cart discount:

Across the in-stock catalog, a 3-pack started at $24.74 and topped out at $59.99, with a typical 3-pack around $33 (about $11 a seed). In 24-packs the cheapest strains came down to about $6.19 a seed. The listed prices are not the whole bill, though: the checkout adds a mandatory 7% fee on the seed subtotal after discounts (not shipping or tax), charged on every card order including debit, and it cannot be switched off. Orders under $99 also pay $6.99 shipping. On a $90 seed subtotal, that is $6.30 in card fees plus $6.99 shipping.
As of October 2026, the 20% Seed Club discount (code SEEDCLUB20) is applied automatically to orders, so the amount you actually pay is lower than the product-page prices in the table.
Sales are final: the return policy accepts no returns on opened packs and no change-of-mind returns. Damaged, incorrect or missing items must be reported within 7 days of delivery, and approved refunds are processed within 3 to 5 business days. Orders can be cancelled until they ship.
Shipping by Region
United States. All orders ship by USPS from Arizona. The shipping policy quotes 1 to 3 business days of processing, with orders placed before 2:00 PM MST on business days usually going out the same day, then USPS First Class in 3 to 5 business days or Priority Mail in 2 to 3 business days. Shipping is free from $99; below that the checkout charges $6.99. Optional shipping insurance costs 9% of the order. The Harvest VIP loyalty tier adds free shipping with no minimum.
Canada, UK, Europe and Australia. The Seed Connect does not ship outside the United States.
Packaging, tracking and lost parcels. Orders go out in plain, unmarked packaging with no mention of the shop or of seeds, and every order gets a USPS tracking number. The site’s FAQ says no signature is required. If a parcel is lost, damaged or more than 14 business days late, the shop says it will work with USPS to find it or arrange a replacement. It is not responsible for parcels sent to a wrong address supplied by the customer.
Mixed delivery estimates. The shipping policy says 3 to 5 business days for First Class, but other FAQ answers on the same site say 3 to 7 or 5 to 7 business days. Plan on the longer estimate if you are working to a planting date.
Shipping to the US does not make growing legal everywhere. Seed and cultivation laws differ by state, and the federal hemp definition is changing in stages between November 12 and December 11, 2026 (P.L. 119-37, section 781, as amended by P.L. 119-103), which may affect how cannabis seeds can be sold and shipped (Congressional Research Service summary). Check your state and local rules before you order.
Germination Guarantee: The Exact Terms
The Seed Connect publishes a written germination guarantee. The key terms:
- What is promised: a 90% germination rate on purchased feminized, autoflower and regular seeds, indoors, outdoors or in a greenhouse, as long as you follow the shop’s recommended germination method (paper towel or float-on-water for feminized seeds, direct soil for autos).
- How the 90% is counted: per pack and rounded down. For a 3-pack, 90% of 3 is 2.7, rounded down to 2, so at least 2 of the 3 seeds must sprout; if fewer do, the shop replaces the difference.
- Exclusions: free, bonus, BOGO and mystery seeds are not covered, and they count against your claim first; this offset is calculated per order. If you bought a 3-pack, got 1 free seed and 1 paid seed fails, no replacement is owed. Improperly stored seeds and seeds germinated another way are also excluded.
- Deadline: 30 days from the day you receive the order. Claims on day 31 to 60 may be reviewed at the shop’s discretion.
- Process: sign in, open Account, Orders, choose “Replace seeds”, pick the strains and quantity that failed and the method you used, then choose replacement seeds (same strain when in stock) or store credit.
- Cost: the seeds are free, but every claim carries a flat $6.99 replacement shipping fee, paid when you file.
- Evidence: most account claims need no uploads, but the shop may ask for a video or photo of you opening the parcel, of the seeds going into water or soil, and of the result after 4 to 7 days. Recording those steps from the start is the safe choice.
Two parts of the site disagree with these terms. A homepage FAQ answer says you need to “submit a short verification video”, and one answer on the guarantee page says replacements are “typically included with your next order at no extra charge”, which conflicts with the $6.99 fee per claim. Treat the step-by-step claim process on the guarantee page as the current rule. The shop also says its seeds “consistently achieve 95%+ germination rates”; that is its own claim.
Payment Methods
The checkout takes Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards. The home page FAQ mentions “alternative payment options at checkout”, but we found only card payment in the checkout, and no PayPal, crypto, Zelle or Cash App. The checkout adds a “Credit Card Processing Fee”: a mandatory 7% fee on the seed subtotal after discounts (not shipping or tax), charged on every card order including debit. Shoppers cannot remove it. The FAQ says billing descriptors are non-descriptive. Sales tax may be added at checkout.
Deals, Loyalty and Discount Codes
As of October 2026, these are the ways to pay less at The Seed Connect:
Current codes and sales. On October 22, 2026 the shop’s promotions included a “Columbus Day Sale” of 50% off (code COLUMBUS50, until November 10, 2026) and an everyday “Seed Club” discount of 20% (code SEEDCLUB20), both set to apply automatically. According to the deals page, only one coupon applies per order and the site picks the best deal for you, while free shipping and bonus seeds stack on top. Check the cart total before paying, because discounts can exclude BOGO items and change without notice. Treat third-party coupon sites with caution.
Free seeds. Orders of $75 or more get 4 free seeds and orders of $150 or more get 8 (a maximum of 8 per order), added automatically. On October 22, 2026 these were mystery autoflower seeds. Remember that free seeds count against any germination claim.
Bundles. The Build Your Bundle option lets you pick 3 to 5 strains and save up to 25%.
Seed Points. The rewards program pays 10 points per $1 spent on seeds (after discounts, excluding shipping, tax and fees), and 200 points are worth $1 off, which works out to 5% back. You also earn 500 points for opening an account, 1,000 on your first purchase, 500 per product review, 2,000 on your birthday, and 4,000 points for referring a friend (who gets 2,000). Points can cover up to 50% of regular-price seeds, but only 20% when a sale, coupon or bundle discount applies, and on October 22, 2026 almost every product (468 of 469 in stock) was on sale.
Tiers. Spending or order count moves you up from Seedling to Sprout ($200 a year or 2 orders), Vegetative ($600 or 5 orders), Pre-VIP ($900 or 8 orders) and Harvest VIP ($1,200 a year or 10 orders). Spending thresholds count per calendar year, order counts over the last 24 months. Higher tiers add 1.5 to 3 times the points, 3% to 10% off regular-price items and extra free seeds on orders of $75 or more; Harvest VIP adds free shipping on every order. A VIP Fast-Track to the top tier costs $49 a year and is activated through support.

Google. The “Seed Connect” store profile at 3030 S Rural Rd #104 in Tempe showed 4.7 out of 5 from 900 reviews on October 22, 2026. Many of these reviews come from walk-in customers in the Phoenix area, so they say more about the store experience than about online orders.
BBB, SmartCustomer and Reviews.io. BBB: A+ rating, not accredited, 0 complaints, 0 reviews. The SmartCustomer (formerly Sitejabber) page had no reviews, and Reviews.io showed a single 5-star review from May 2024 (all checked October 22, 2026).
Reddit. Local growers discuss the shop in two threads on r/AZGrowersGuild, and the picture there is more critical than on Google:
- “(The seed connect) in Tempe?” (September 14, 2024): replies are split. Some users report successful first grows and a Skunk Hero they bought again, and one praises the clones sold in the store. Others report hermaphrodite plants, an autoflower turning up in a pack of photoperiod seeds, and claims that the shop sells white-label seeds.
- “Seed connect in Tempe” (January 6, 2025, with replies into August 2026): the most-upvoted reply advises against the shop, citing white-label seeds. Later replies report plants from one labeled pack that grew out as clearly different strains (September 2025), a hermaphrodite GMO plant (November 2025) and 1 of 5 seeds germinating (August 2026). Other users describe consistent autoflowers, healthy clones and strains that looked as advertised.
These are individual reports that we cannot verify, but the same themes come up repeatedly: genetics that do not always match the label, and questions about where the seeds come from. They fit with the vague breeder attributions on part of the catalog.

The site is modern and fast to filter, with seed-type and trait categories, a strain finder, a compare tool, an account area for orders and guarantee claims, and grow guides on germination and the grow cycle. Strain pages list THC, yield, height, flowering time, genetics and difficulty. The weak spot is consistency. Delivery times differ between pages (3 to 5, 3 to 7 and 5 to 7 business days), the guarantee pages disagree on proof and replacement shipping, the FAQ promises payment alternatives that the checkout does not show, and the shipping policy says rates are “calculated at checkout” while the checkout uses a flat $6.99. The 7% card fee is not mentioned on the shipping, terms or FAQ pages. Some FAQ answers also state that seeds are legal in all 50 states under federal law, which is a simplification of a changing legal picture (see the legal note above).
Who The Seed Connect Suits, and Who Should Look Elsewhere
A good fit if you: live in the US and want fast domestic USPS shipping with tracking and no customs; live near Tempe and want to shop in person and ask questions face to face; buy regularly and will use the free seeds from $75, Seed Points and the frequent automatic discounts; or want a written guarantee with a clear claim process in your account.
Look elsewhere if you: live outside the US; want to pay without a 7% card fee or with PayPal or crypto; want verified original breeder packs for every strain; or buy mostly 3-packs, where the rounded-down 90% guarantee only applies once 2 of 3 seeds fail.
