Bomb Seeds is an independent cannabis breeder that launched in 2009 and is best known for THC Bomb, the strain the brand was built on. It now sells its own feminized, autoflower and regular seeds directly to home growers through bomb-seeds.com, with US orders shipped by USPS from a distribution office in New York. Our verdict: a legitimate breeder-direct shop with a clear 90-day germination guarantee, card, crypto and bank payments and fair regular prices, held back by $15.95 US shipping on smaller orders, few independent reviews and no named company behind the store. We score it 6.5/10.

Buying Bomb Seeds from the USA

Bomb Seeds is now set up mainly for American buyers. The homepage is titled “Buy Cannabis Seeds Online in the USA”, prices are in dollars, and the About page says the company opened a distribution office in New York in 2024 to serve US customers directly. According to the shipping page, US orders go out from New York by USPS with tracking for a flat $15.95, usually within one business day, and arrive in 2 to 5 business days. The FAQ says Bomb Seeds ships to all US states.

Two things the shipping page leaves out. First, US shipping became free in the checkout once the cart passed about $99 (a cart of $98.57 was charged $15.95, a cart of $99.27 shipped free on October 22, 2026). Second, the delivery estimates are not consistent: the FAQ gives both “3 to 5 working days” and “2 to 5 working days, up to 7 in busy periods”, and the checkout option is labeled “1-5 Days”. Plan on up to a week around Black Friday and Christmas.

The site’s terms describe the seeds as souvenirs and collectibles, state that cultivation remains illegal under US federal law, and say support will not answer questions about germination or growing. Read the legal note in the shipping section below before you order.

Who Bomb Seeds Is

The About page traces the brand to a personal breeding project on Australia’s east coast in the late 1990s. That project produced THC Bomb. The work moved to the Netherlands in 2003, where THC Bomb joined Bomb #1 and Bomb #2, and by the company’s account THC Bomb reached a few Dutch coffee shops in 2005. Bomb Seeds launched as a commercial seed brand in 2009 with eight strains: THC Bomb, Berry Bomb, Hash Bomb, Medi Bomb #1, Medi Bomb #2, Widow Bomb, Cheese Bomb and Buzz Bomb.

Later milestones on the same page: about 10 more strains, including the first autoflowers, in 2012 and 2013; Gorilla Bomb in 2016; a range built on US genetics (Godfather OG Bomb, Runtz Bomb, THC Fritters) in 2022; and the New York office in 2024. Between 2012 and 2019 the brand exhibited at trade shows such as Cannafest in Prague, Product Earth in the UK and Spannabis in Spain.

Bomb Seeds says its head office is in London, with breeding and testing in Spain and the Netherlands. The Facebook and Instagram handles still end in “nl”, which may explain why the brand is often described as Dutch. We found no company name, registration number or street address on the site, and a search of the UK Companies House register for “Bomb Seeds” did not return a matching company. The terms and conditions state that Bomb Seeds “operates within the United States where permitted by law” and that purchases are governed by US law. Bomb Seeds also sells through other shops; its retailers page lists authorized stockists in the UK, the US, Canada, the Netherlands, Spain, Germany and other countries.

Catalog and Seed Types

On October 22, 2026 the shop listed 42 paid products, all Bomb Seeds’ own genetics: 26 feminized photoperiod strains, 8 autoflowers and 8 regular strains. The range is focused rather than large. Expect potency and yield to be the selling points; nearly every strain carries the “Bomb” name.

Some older strains, such as Hash Bomb, Cheese Bomb and the Medi Bombs, are no longer in the shop. THC Bomb genetics

THC Bomb is the strain most people search for. Bomb Seeds does not publish its full parentage; the About page says the company keeps “the exact parentage of THC Bomb closely guarded”. The THC Bomb Feminized page describes it as an indica/sativa hybrid with a THC range of 20 to 25%, a yield of 550 to 650 g/m² indoors, a height of 90 to 140 cm and 7 to 9 weeks of indoor flowering, with outdoor harvest in September or October. THC Bomb also sits behind later strains: Gorilla Bomb crosses it with Gorilla Glue #4 (see our Gorilla Glue strain page). Several regular strains, such as Big Bomb and Berry Bomb, use a Bomb #1 male as the father. THC Bomb is sold as feminized, autoflower and regular seeds.

Prices and Pack Sizes

Feminized and autoflower strains come in 5 and 10 seed packs; regular strains only in 10-packs. These are the regular prices on October 22, 2026:

So feminized and auto seeds cost roughly $5.70 to $9.79 each at regular prices, and regular seeds $3.50 to $5.20 each (Berry Bomb Regular is the most expensive at $51.95 for 10). For the feminized strains in the table, the 10-pack saves about 6% to 14% per seed over the 5-pack. On October 22, 2026 a 30% discount was applied in the cart to every product we tested, which brought a 5-pack of THC Bomb Feminized to $34.27 ($6.85 a seed) and a 10-pack of Big Bomb Regular to $24.47 ($2.45 a seed). Sales change, so check the cart total before you rely on it.

Returns are accepted only for unopened packages in their original packaging, according to the FAQ and the shipping page. Damaged or incomplete orders must be reported within 7 days of delivery with photos of the product, the packaging and the shipping label, per the terms and conditions.

Shipping by Region

Only the US is covered on the shipping page. For the other regions we added seeds to a cart and entered addresses in each country on October 22, 2026. The rates and free-shipping thresholds below come from that checkout and can change without notice.

United States. USPS tracked from New York, $15.95, free from about $99, 2 to 5 business days. Checkout offered the same rate for Alaska and Hawaii.

United Kingdom. $3.95, free from about $68, with a checkout label of 2 to 5 days.

Europe. $12.95, free from $150, labeled “Guaranteed Stealth 7-15 Days”. Every EU country we tried (including Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Poland and Sweden) got this option, as did Switzerland. Norway got no shipping option.

Canada and Australia. Canada: $15.95, free from $150, 7 to 15 days. Australia: $16.95, free from about $127, 7 to 15 days. New Zealand and Mexico were also offered shipping.

Packaging. According to the FAQ, each seed sits in a crushproof plastic vial inside a branded Bomb Seeds mylar bag, and the order ships in a plain padded envelope with no branding on the outside. Tracking codes arrive by email; if none arrives within 48 hours, Bomb Seeds asks you to get in touch. If a US parcel has not arrived after 5 working days, contact support, which says it will work with USPS to resolve the issue or arrange a replacement where appropriate.

Shipping to the US does not make growing legal everywhere. Seed and cultivation laws differ by state, and the federal hemp definition is changing in stages between November 12 and December 11, 2026 (P.L. 119-37, section 781, as amended by P.L. 119-103), which may affect how cannabis seeds can be sold and shipped (Congressional Research Service summary). Check your state and local rules before you order.

Germination Guarantee: The Exact Terms

Bomb Seeds publishes a real guarantee, not just a germination rate. Its germination guarantee policy says that if any seeds from your order fail to germinate, it will replace them. The terms:

• Window: contact customer service within 90 days of receiving your order.
• What to send: your order number, the strain and how many seeds failed, and clear photos of the seeds and your germination attempt.
• Outcome: after the claim is reviewed and approved, the failed seeds are replaced, with the same strain where possible; if it is unavailable, support contacts you about an alternative. The policy offers replacement seeds, not refunds.

The policy does not set a minimum failure rate or a fixed germination method, and it does not say whether free seeds are covered. One practical tension: the terms say support will not discuss germination or cultivation, yet a claim needs photos of your germination attempt. Keep the claim factual (order number, count, photos). Bomb Seeds also says its seeds are produced under controlled conditions and checked for viability before release; we could not verify that independently.

Payment Methods

The payment page lists three options:

• Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, through an encrypted payment gateway.
• Crypto: bitcoin (BTC), bitcoin cash (BCH), ether (ETH) and litecoin (LTC) through CoinGate. Crypto refunds are paid in crypto at the value at the time of the refund, not the purchase value.
• Bank transfer: payment details appear at checkout; the order is processed once the full amount arrives.

PayPal is not on the list. Refunds are considered case by case for shipping or product issues, and an order that has not yet shipped can be cancelled through the contact form.

Deals, Loyalty and Discount Codes

As of October 2026, these are the ways to pay less at Bomb Seeds:

Current sale. On October 22, 2026 the shop showed “30% OFF” on its products, and the discount was applied automatically in the cart to every product we tested. No code was needed.

Free seeds. The free seeds page adds one free seed to every order and two extra seeds of another strain on orders over $80. On October 22, 2026 those were one Berry Bomb Auto seed and two Godfather Bomb Feminized seeds; the free strains change regularly.

Codes. We found no published discount or coupon code on the site, and the competitions page said there were no active competitions. Treat codes on third-party coupon sites with caution, and compare the result with the automatic sale price.

Loyalty. The terms mention loyalty rewards, but we found no loyalty or points program on the site.

Customer Service

Support runs through a contact form with topics for order queries, payment, cancellations and general questions. Bomb Seeds says it tries to reply within one working day. The wholesale page lists the email address [email protected]. We found no phone number or live chat. The terms say the team helps with products, order status, accounts and website questions, but not with germination or cultivation questions.

For public complaint handling there is little to check: we found no Better Business Bureau profile for Bomb Seeds, and its SmartCustomer (formerly Sitejabber) page had no reviews on October 22, 2026. Bomb Seeds replied to all 7 of its Reviews.io reviews, usually within a day or two.

Reputation

Review platforms. The Reviews.io page for Bomb Seeds showed 7 reviews with an average of 5.0 out of 5 on October 22, 2026, marked as verified buyers, posted between June 4 and October 11, 2026. That is a very small sample, collected through the shop’s own review invitations. SmartCustomer had no reviews, and we found no BBB profile.

SeedFinder. The SeedFinder breeder page lists 40 Bomb Seeds strains. Eleven of them have user reviews, with an average strain rating of 7.61 out of 10. These rate the genetics, not the shop.

Reddit. Discussion of Bomb Seeds is thin, and most of it is about the genetics rather than ordering from bomb-seeds.com. Themes from threads we could verify:

• A widely shared r/Autoflowers post from November 28, 2024 shows a THC Bomb Auto harvest of 3.87 lbs from a hydroponic SCROG grow, harvested on day 107 (thread). That is one exceptional grow, not a typical result.
• In an r/microgrowery thread from December 8, 2016 about THC Bomb, growers praised its vigor and resin; one grower reported poor germination (three seeds planted, only one popped), while the original poster had all three germinate. Another called the seeds “not bad”, adding that this “is also not exactly a glowing review” (thread).
• A November 23, 2024 r/microgrowery post by a buyer who picked up a Cherry Bomb 5-pack from a retailer noted that Bomb Seeds is a breeder they “rarely see any reviews on” (thread).
• An October 30, 2024 r/microgrowery post shows a Banana Bomb plant late in flower, with the grower happy with its color and smell (thread).
