Blimburn Seeds is a Barcelona-based seed brand that sells its catalog through its own webshop at blimburnseeds.com, with a US company in New York and US orders shipped inside the United States. The store lists more than 1,240 strains, from feminized and autoflowering seeds to F1 hybrids, regular, CBD and fast-flowering seeds. Our verdict: a large, well-documented store with free domestic US shipping and frequent deals, held back by strict germination guarantee terms, mixed customer reports and unclear information about who produces many of its strains. We score it 6.9/10.

Buying Blimburn Seeds from the USA

For US buyers, the key point is that Blimburn ships US orders from inside the country. Its delivery timing page lists “From USA to USA” shipping by USPS, free, with an expected delivery of 3 to 10 business days and dispatch within 24 hours from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. A cart test on October 22, 2026 confirmed free USPS shipping for a $42 seed order to California, Texas and Idaho. The site says it ships “to all 50 states for souvenir and collectors’ purposes” and leaves checking local law to the buyer.

US orders are covered by Blimburn’s delivery guarantee: if a parcel does not arrive, Blimburn says it will resend it. The guarantee ends once the carrier marks the parcel as delivered, and a parcel returned because of a wrong or inaccessible address costs $15 to reship. The US checkout also has the widest choice of payment methods (see below). Before you order, read the legal note in the shipping section: free US delivery does not make growing legal in every state.

Who Blimburn Seeds Is

According to its About page, the company behind Blimburn started at the end of 2001 as Green Guide Europe, a wholesaler of grow equipment and seeds. The Blimburn Seeds brand followed in 2009. The homepage says Blimburn has sold seeds online since 2002. Blimburn says it brought elite clones such as GSC, Blue Dream and Granddaddy Purple from the San Francisco Bay Area in 2012 and used them for crosses like Cafe Racer and Grizzly Purple Kush. It also says it won an ICA award for best seed bank in the USA in 2024; that claim comes from its own page.

The site footer and privacy policy name two companies: Dome of the Five SL at Aribau 161 in Barcelona, and Dome of the US, Inc. at 228 E. 45th St, Suite 9E, New York. The terms are governed by Spanish law. Blimburn says it has warehouses in Barcelona, New York, Toronto and Bangkok, and runs a separate wholesale site and a store locator for retail partners.

Breeder or reseller?

This question comes up often, and Blimburn’s own statements do not settle it. The About page says that when the brand was created in 2009, Blimburn started “white labeling for others”, and that its more than 1,000 cultivars are “made by us or from collaborators around the world”, with most production now in California. The breeder profile on SeedFinder, written in Blimburn’s own words, says the opposite: “Blimburn Seeds do not repackage seeds, or produce for others.” The homepage adds that “for 20+ years Blimburn Seeds has bred and stabilized its own genetics”. Product pages list lineage, but not who produced the seeds. Some Reddit users argue that much of the range is white label (see Reputation). If knowing the original breeder matters to you, ask support before you buy.

Catalog and Seed Types

The homepage advertises 1,240 strains, and the store’s public product feed listed 1,372 products on October 22, 2026, about 1,266 of them in seed categories. Roughly 730 are feminized, about 280 autoflowering, 108 regular, 79 CBD, 60 fast flowering and 20 F1 feminized, plus F1 autos and a small extraction line. Collaboration lines include Happy Munkey x BLB, Happy Valley x Blimburn and strains made with Kyle Kushman. Elite Packs, Heritage Families and Taster’s Box bundles round out the range. The store also sells nutrients, clothing and a small number of THCA flower products.

You will find many US classics here, including Girl Scout Cookies, Granddaddy Purple, Blue Dream, Sour Diesel, White Widow and Bruce Banner #3, next to high-THC house favorites such as Fat Bastard, Hippo High, Scrambler Haze and Blackberry Moonrocks. Prices and Pack Sizes

Almost every strain comes in packs of 1, 3, 6, 9, 25, 50 and 100 seeds, and most follow one of three price tiers. These are the regular prices we saw on October 22, 2026:

About 1,100 strains, including Critical Auto and most regular seeds, use the standard tier. Granddaddy Purple, Girl Scout Cookies and Scrambler Haze sit in the premium tier. A few autos, such as Bubblegum Auto, are cheaper at $14.90 for one seed and $500 for 100 ($5.00 a seed). So small packs are expensive, at $14 to $22 a seed for a 3-pack, while bulk packs are among the cheaper per-seed options we have seen. Product pages show a “you save” figure that compares each pack with the single-seed price, so treat those savings as a comparison with the 1-seed pack, not with an earlier price.

Current promotions change the math a lot. As of November 1, 2026, a buy-one-get-one-free deal applied to 1, 3, 6 and 9 seed packs of selected strains on orders over $80, and a buy-one-get-two-free flash sale applied to 1 and 3 seed packs on orders over $180, both listed as valid until November 2, 2026. With the BOGO, a 3-pack of Fat Bastard in an order over $80 becomes 6 seeds for $42, or $7.00 a seed. Some classics were also discounted, such as White Widow at $10.50 instead of $17.50 for one seed. The coupon help page says the system needs a cart total of at least $42 to process an order.

Shipping by Region

All figures come from Blimburn’s delivery timing page, its shipping cost page and a test of its cart on October 22, 2026.

United States. Free USPS shipping from inside the US, 3 to 10 business days, dispatch within 24 hours on weekdays, delivery guarantee. Details are in the section above.

Canada. Orders ship from the USA by USPS. Shipping costs $25 under $165 and is free from $165; our cart test showed $25 on a $42 order and free shipping on a $168 order. Blimburn quotes 5 to 15 business days, with discreet inner packaging included, and Canada is covered by the delivery guarantee.

European Union. Free shipping from Spain by GLS, 2 to 6 business days, delivery guarantee. Other European countries outside the EU get free postal shipping, quoted at 2 to 6 weeks.

United Kingdom. Free postal shipping from Spain, 7 to 15 business days. The help center lists the UK under the delivery guarantee, but the UK shipping option at checkout was labeled “Delivery not guaranteed” on October 22, 2026, so confirm with support if the guarantee matters to you.

Australia. Free postal shipping from Spain, about 6 to 8 weeks, with no delivery guarantee. For countries outside the guarantee, Blimburn sells an optional $15 reshipment guarantee: if the parcel does not arrive, you get one replacement shipment for 25% of the original order amount. Discreet packaging (seeds in a phone case, $6) and free discreet labeling with product codes instead of strain names are also offered only in those countries.

Packaging and dispatch. Seeds ship in a crash-proof cardboard envelope with bubble wrap, each strain sealed in its own colored bag with an ampoule, inside a Blimburn black bag, according to the packaging page. Blimburn says the outer packaging has no cannabis references, and every order gets a tracking number. Blimburn does not ship to Turkey. Its terms state that once an order leaves the warehouse, risk passes to the buyer, and that it is not liable for seizures by customs or other authorities.

Shipping to the US does not make growing legal everywhere. Seed and cultivation laws differ by state, and the federal hemp definition is changing in stages between November 12 and December 11, 2026 (P.L. 119-37, section 781, as amended by P.L. 119-103), which may affect how cannabis seeds can be sold and shipped (Congressional Research Service summary). Check your state and local rules before you order.

Germination Guarantee: The Exact Terms

The homepage advertises a “99% germination guarantee”. That is marketing language; the published terms contain no percentage. The homepage FAQ also says that if a seed from an unopened pack fails to pop, “our guarantee covers it”, which is broader than the written terms below. What Blimburn actually promises is set out in its terms and conditions, its germination guarantee page and its germination guide:

• Only seeds bought directly from blimburnseeds.com are covered.
• The length depends on which page you read. The terms say the guarantee lasts 90 days from the day after shipment, and the claim checklist in the germination guide also uses 90 days. The help center pages, updated on October 22, 2026, say 6 months from the day after delivery (checked Nov 1, 2026). Ask support which period applies before you count on the longer one.
• One claim per order. Seeds you germinate later are not covered by a second claim.
• You must follow the Germination Control Procedure: on day 1, screenshot a Google search for “today’s date” and film the seeds and setup, then film again on days 3, 5 and 7. If seeds have not sprouted after 7 days, submit the claim form with the videos, your order number and the number of failed seeds per strain. The germination guide adds that a hard, closed seed only qualifies after at least 14 days, and asks you to keep the seeds.
• Under the terms, replacement seeds are only given if you ordered packs of 3, 6, 9, 25, 50 or 100 and at least 3 seeds failed. If you bought single seeds, or fewer than 3 seeds failed, you get a free-seed coupon for your next order instead. The updated help center pages no longer mention this rule and say the team will offer “the appropriate solution” depending on the case.
• The guarantee ends once a taproot appears; later growth problems are not covered.

The germination guide accepts four methods: paper towel and plate (recommended), a glass of water (no longer than 72 hours), a zip-lock bag, and trays, jiffy pellets or soil. It excludes seeds damaged by prolonged soaking, stagnant water, heating mats or grow lights, and cases where the photos or videos are not clear enough to judge. Some product pages still carry older text that rules out “using a water bottle or planting directly into soil”, so go by the germination guide. Free-seed coupons from germination claims are valid for one year on orders over $42.

Payment Methods

The US checkout we loaded on October 22, 2026 offered credit card, ACH transfer, Venmo, cash, check or money order by mail, and crypto (“Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies”). The payment methods page (updated July 2026) lists accepted cards as Visa, Mastercard and Discover and gives the options per region:

• US: card, ACH or wire transfer, Venmo, cash, check or money order by mail, crypto
• Canada: card, Interac e-Transfer, crypto (USDC on Ethereum)
• EU: wire transfer in USD, bank transfer in EUR, mail payment, USDC; cards listed as “soon to be available”

PayPal is not listed anywhere. Blimburn notes that payment methods can change from time to time, and that some methods carry a small extra fee. Card payments confirm within 24 hours, transfers within 2 to 5 business days. Refunds for crypto payments go to your Blimburn Wallet rather than back to your wallet address.

Deals, Loyalty and Discount Codes

As of November 2026, these are the ways to pay less at Blimburn Seeds:

Running promotions. The Promos and Deals page listed the BOGO (orders over $80) and buy-one-get-two-free (orders over $180) deals described above, both valid until November 2, 2026 (checked Nov 1, 2026). Sale-priced items and extraction seeds are excluded, and deals cannot be combined. A “Save the Genetics” sale also took 40% off a selection of 1, 3, 6 and 9 seed packs, listed until November 2, 2026. End dates have changed before, so check the deals page before you order.

Free seeds on larger orders. According to the checkout rewards page, seed orders earn free seeds of your choice: 1 seed from $70, 2 from $125, 3 from $180, 6 from $250, 9 from $350 and 12 over $500. The tiers apply per order, not across orders.

Cashback through the Growers Hub. Every account joins the Growers Hub. You earn 1 point per dollar, and points from the last 365 days set your tier: Bronze (50 points, 2% cashback), Silver (250, 5%), Gold (750, 10%) or Diamond (1,500, 15%). Each new tier also brings a one-time welcome coupon of $5, $20, $50 or $100 with a minimum cart. Cashback lands in your Blimburn Wallet within 15 days of shipping and can cover up to 40% of a future order. It cannot be withdrawn. Approved grow diaries earn $15 in wallet credit, and referring a friend earns $5.

Codes. We found no public promo code on the site on November 1, 2026. Signing up for the newsletter through the pop-up gives a 10% coupon, and coupons in your account dashboard are applied at checkout, one per order and not on sale items. Verified US veterans and active military get a permanent 15% discount through the veterans program. Treat codes on third-party coupon sites with caution.

Most help articles promise a reply by the next business day. Mind the deadlines: lost, damaged, wrong or missing items must be reported within 15 days of delivery, and the refund policy only accepts returns within 15 days with the colored seed bags still sealed. If Blimburn paid the shipping, $15 is deducted from the refund. On public complaint handling we found little: we found no BBB profile for Blimburn, and its SmartCustomer page had no reviews on October 22, 2026. Reddit reports on support are mixed (see below).

Reputation

Independent review data is limited. On GrowDiaries, a grow-log platform, Blimburn had a rating of 8.3 from 182 reviews and 545 published diaries on October 22, 2026. SeedFinder lists 122 Blimburn strains; 12 have user reviews, with an average rating of 6.79 out of 10. We found no BBB profile, and SmartCustomer showed no reviews. Strain reviews on blimburnseeds.com are collected and moderated by Blimburn itself, and its review rules exclude reviews about service, so give them less weight.

Blimburn is discussed often on Reddit, with a clear split between grow logs that show healthy harvests and complaints about orders. Themes in dated threads:

The shop is easy to filter by seed type, THC, yield, flavor and award, and product pages give more grow data than many seedbanks: yield indoors and outdoors, flowering time, height, climate and terpenes. The weak spot is consistency. The terms and the help center disagree on how long the germination guarantee lasts (90 days versus 6 months) and when it starts, the help center lets you claim after 7 days while the germination guide asks for at least 14 days for a hard, closed seed, product pages contradict the germination guide on accepted methods, the UK is listed as guaranteed in the help center but not at checkout, and two payment pages give different crypto options. The privacy policy still contained the placeholder “[insert email address]” and the disclaimer page calls itself a template on October 22, 2026. Product pages also list medical uses for strains; treat those as marketing, not medical advice.

Who Blimburn Seeds Suits, and Who Should Look Elsewhere

A good fit if you: live in the US and want free domestic shipping with a delivery guarantee; buy in bulk or during BOGO deals, where the per-seed price drops to $6 to $9; want a very large catalog of US-style high-THC strains, autos and F1 hybrids; or order often enough to use the free seeds and tier cashback. Verified veterans get 15% off on top.

Look elsewhere if you: want to know exactly which breeder made your seeds; buy single seeds or 3-packs at full price; want a simple germination guarantee without filming every step; need PayPal; or live in Australia and want a delivery guarantee.

Product Range is the strongest category at 8.5/10: more than 1,240 strains across every major seed type, F1 lines and collaborations, held back by unclear information on who produces many of them. Shipping and Delivery earns 7.5/10 for free USPS delivery inside the US, a delivery guarantee for the US, Canada, the EU and the UK, free shipping to most other countries and 24-hour dispatch; Canada’s $25 fee under $165, slow and unguaranteed delivery to Australia and the conflicting UK information keep it from scoring higher.

Price and Value lands at 7.0/10: small packs are expensive at $14 to $22 a seed, but bulk packs, frequent BOGO deals, free seeds from $70 and 2% to 15% cashback make larger orders good value. Customer Service scores 6.5/10 for email seven days a week, a US phone line, chat and a detailed help center, offset by short 15-day claim windows and mixed reports on how problems are handled. The trade-offs are concrete.
