It ships US orders from Los Angeles and Canadian orders from Vancouver, sells feminized, autoflower, regular, CBD and fast version seeds under its own label, and offers free shipping on orders over $200 (subtotal). Our verdict: a large, easy-to-browse North American shop with domestic shipping on both sides of the border, held back by high pack prices, a germination guarantee with very strict conditions and mixed independent feedback. We score it 6.7/10.

The banner on every page of the site reads “US orders ship from the US, Canadian orders ship from Canada”. According to the Crop King FAQ, orders for customers in all 50 states and US territories ship domestically from Los Angeles, California, by USPS Priority with tracking. The US address on the contact page is 16836 Saticoy Street, Van Nuys, CA 91406. Because US parcels do not cross a border, there is no customs step for US buyers.

Shipping is free when your subtotal is over $200; below that, Crop King charges a flat $20. Orders over $420 are subject to signature and identity confirmation at purchase and a signature on delivery. Prices are in US dollars for all customers, and US buyers can pay with a Visa or Mastercard registered in the USA, Bitcoin, MoneyGram or mailed cash or money order (details below). Before you order, read the legal note in the shipping section: a US address on the shipping list does not make growing legal in every state.

Who Crop King Seeds Is

On its About page, Crop King Seeds says it was established in 2005 and supplies “premium cannabis genetics for medical and commercial growers”. The company describes its approach as “searching the planet for the best strains and breeders” and says its seeds are inspected, tested and hand-picked. It sells under its own brand and does not name the breeders behind individual strains. Its Limited Edition page presents strains from Atlas Seeds as “now proudly part of the Crop King Seeds family”.

We could not find the legal entity behind Crop King on the website, in its privacy policy or on its BBB profile. Other business names appear in its policies: cash payments go to “Green Gardening” (a PO box in Vancouver) or “Kask Consulting” (the Van Nuys address), retailers are sent to the wholesale site Vancoast Seeds, and the affiliate program runs through Green Affiliates. Vancouver addresses also differ by source: the contact page lists 651 E Hastings St, the Google Maps listing shows 8449 Main St, and the BBB profile lists 101-112 E 6th Ave.

Catalog and Seed Types

On October 22, 2026, the product sitemap listed about 4,290 product pages, and the category pages showed 3,949 feminized products, 265 autoflowers, 33 fast version strains, 32 regular strains, 32 CBD strains and 2 assorted packs. Most of the growth is recent: 3,694 products sit in the New Strains category, and many of these newer feminized listings (for example the Blackberry series) have no customer ratings yet and some leave fields such as CBD level blank.

The older core of the catalog covers well-known names, including Gorilla Glue, White Widow, Northern Lights and autoflower versions of Jack Herer and Amnesia Haze. Fast version seeds are feminized crosses of photoperiod plants with autoflowers, meant to finish sooner than the photoperiod parent. Strain pages list genetics, THC and CBD ranges, growing level, flowering time, height, yield, aroma and main terpenes. We found no lab certificates (COAs) on the strain pages we checked, so treat THC figures as the seller’s estimates.

Prices and Pack Sizes

Most strains come in 5, 10 and 25 seed packs (some mixes, such as the Auto Feminized Mix, only as a 10-pack), and prices follow fixed tiers: $65, $120 and $240 for THC-dominant feminized, autoflower and fast version seeds, $40, $70 and $140 for most regular seeds (some regular listings sit in the $65 to $240 tier), and $35, $65 and $135 for CBD strains, including CBD autoflowers and CBD feminized seeds. THC-dominant feminized, autoflower and fast version seeds, which make up most of the catalog, cost $9.60 to $13.00 per seed. That is on the high side for own-label seeds, and the 25-pack is the only size that brings the price under $10 a seed. CBD versions cost $5.40 to $7.00 per seed, and most regular seeds $5.60 to $8.00. Keep the shipping threshold in mind: a single 10-pack of feminized seeds ($120) stays under $200, so it costs $140 with the $20 shipping fee.

Crop King’s refund policy is strict. The FAQ states that all sales are final, with no refunds or exchanges once a tracking number has been applied. The only exception is a parcel marked “returned to sender” that arrives back unopened, which is refunded minus the shipping fee. Changes to an order are possible only before a tracking number exists.

Shipping by Region

United States. Ships from Los Angeles by USPS Priority with tracking, to all 50 states and US territories. Free over a $200 subtotal, otherwise $20. The FAQ quotes 3 to 7 days from the day the tracking number is applied.

Canada. Ships from Vancouver by Canada Post with tracking, under the same $200 threshold and $20 fee. Canadian customers see prices in Canadian dollars at checkout.

UK, EU, Australia and other countries. Crop King says it ships worldwide, but everything outside Canada, the US and US territories counts as an international order. These orders ship from Los Angeles by USPS, need at least 20 seeds or a $200 subtotal, have no germination guarantee and can only be paid by MoneyGram, Bitcoin, cash or international money order. The FAQ says there are no established arrival dates; the homepage FAQ estimates 7 to 14 business days. Crop King states it cannot be held responsible for seizure, weather, carrier or tracking problems on international parcels, so check your country’s import rules first.

Packaging. The site gives three different answers. The FAQ says all web orders in the US and Canada ship in standard, non-branded packaging and international orders ship “discreetly … without packaging”. The contact page says Canadian orders ship “in original packaging”, and the homepage FAQ describes packaging with a viewing window and discreet packaging on request. If plain packaging matters to you, ask support before you order.

Lost or delayed parcels. Crop King is not responsible for loss or damage in transit. For problems after a parcel leaves the warehouse, you file a claim with USPS or Canada Post, and a reshipment for a lost, stolen or “delivered” parcel requires a postal claim number.

Shipping to the US does not make growing legal everywhere. Seed and cultivation laws differ by state, and the federal hemp definition is changing in stages between November 12 and December 11, 2026 (P.L. 119-37, section 781, as amended by P.L. 119-103), which may affect how cannabis seeds can be sold and shipped (Congressional Research Service summary). Check your state and local rules before you order.

Germination Guarantee: The Exact Terms

The homepage advertises an “80% germination rate”, and in this case there is a real guarantee behind it. The FAQ states that “an 80% germination rate is promised to any pack size when the germination guide is followed correctly”. The conditions are strict, so read them before you start:

• You must use Crop King’s own method from its germination page: soak the seeds for 14 to 18 hours in bottled spring water, move them to a moist paper towel on an open plate in a warm, dark room, and plant the taproot in plain potting soil with no nutrients or fertilizer.
• Only bottled spring water qualifies. Tap, RO, distilled or well water voids the guarantee.
• No guarantee if the seeds were placed in a bag, covered in any way or started on a seed or heating mat, planted directly in soil, or started in a seed starter kit, rockwool or peat pellets.
• The guarantee is met once sprouts appear in the soil; what happens after that is the grower’s responsibility.
• Claims are made by phone, where staff go over your method. The homepage FAQ adds that all seeds must have been attempted.
• One replacement per order, with seeds from a different batch of the same strain. No refunds.
• Valid up to two years after purchase if the seeds were stored properly. Not valid on international orders.

A written 80% promise with a two-year window is a clear, checkable commitment. The catch is the method: many growers germinate in a covered container, on a heat mat or directly in soil, and all of those void the claim. The payment section of the FAQ lists:

• Visa or Mastercard credit and debit cards registered in the USA or Canada
• Bitcoin (automatic payment page; the homepage FAQ says payment must be completed within 10 minutes)

The profile did not show complaint figures we could check.

Reputation

Google. The Google Maps listing for Crop King Seeds in Vancouver showed 3.6 out of 5 from 384 reviews on October 22, 2026. Recent reviews shown on the listing range from repeat buyers reporting 80 to 90% germination and a quickly fixed order mix-up to customers describing unshipped orders and poor germination on a recent order. Because Crop King rewards customers for writing Google reviews (a BOGO seed pack), the average may lean positive.

Other platforms. The BBB profile has no customer reviews, and the SmartCustomer (formerly Sitejabber) and Reviews.io pages for cropkingseeds.com had no reviews on October 22, 2026.

On-site ratings. Product pages show Crop King’s own star ratings, for example Amnesia Haze Autoflowering at 4.96 out of 5 from 28 ratings, Early Miss Auto at 4.73 from 44 and Lambs Breath Auto at 4.61 from 41. These are collected and displayed by the seller, so give them less weight than an independent platform.

Reddit. Forum feedback on Crop King leans negative. In a March 2025 r/canadagrows thread asking for opinions, most replies were critical of the genetics and service, one commenter reported that 4-year-old Crop King seeds still sprouted and that service had been good, and another said one strain germinated while another did not. In an April 6, 2024 r/GrowingMarijuana thread, the poster said a friend paid over $100, never received an order confirmation and never received the seeds; that is a secondhand account. The FAQ page and the homepage FAQ disagree on delivery times, packaging and payment options (Interac appears on only one of them), the contact page and the FAQ disagree on Canadian packaging, the age requirement is 18 in the FAQ and 21 in the legal disclaimer, and three different Vancouver addresses appear across the contact page, Google and the BBB.
