Gorilla Seeds (also called Gorilla Cannabis Seeds or Gorilla Seed Bank) is a UK online shop that says it has sold seeds from other breeders since 2011. It does not breed its own strains. It stocks feminized, autoflower, regular and triploid seeds from about 46 active breeders, ships from England and includes free seeds with every order. Our verdict: a long-running reseller with a deep catalog and good UK delivery terms, held back by no germination guarantee, policy pages that contradict each other and thin options for buyers outside the UK. We score it 6.1/10.
This review is based on Gorilla Seeds’ published policies, current prices on its website, a checkout test with a basket we did not pay for, public company records and independent customer feedback. All facts were checked on October 22, 2026. Note that Gorilla Seeds is a shop, not a strain: if you are looking for Gorilla Glue seeds, that is a strain sold by many breeders.

Buying From Gorilla Seeds in the USA
Gorilla Seeds is a UK shop, so US orders are international parcels. Its shipping FAQ says it ships to “most countries worldwide” with tracking where available, and it does not publish a country exclusion list. In our checkout test on October 22, 2026, a US address got a standard tracked option for £7, plus an option labelled “Royal Mail Special Delivery” for £9.95. Royal Mail Special Delivery is normally a UK domestic service, so ask Gorilla what that option means for a US parcel before you pick it. US buyers pay the same listed price; no separate UK VAT line was added.
Payment is the bigger hurdle. With a US address, checkout offered only “Instant Bank Pay” (open banking) and “Cash / Crypto”. Card payment, Apple Pay and Google Pay appeared only for the UK address, and the privacy policy lists card payments for UK, EU and EEA countries. In practice, most US buyers will pay in bitcoin, litecoin or ether. Prices are set in pounds; a currency switch shows US dollars. Gorilla’s FAQ quotes about 2 to 3 weeks for most international deliveries, and its legal disclaimer puts the responsibility for local laws on the buyer.
Who Gorilla Seeds Is
Gorilla describes itself on its About page as “a UK distributor/reseller of premium cannabis seeds from trusted breeders” and says plainly: “We don’t breed; we curate.” The homepage calls it a “Cannabis Seed Retailer Since 2011”. The About page names three team members: Sian (curator), Fassil (dispatch) and Andy (customer support).
The ownership details need a closer look. The terms and conditions say the website, trading as Gorilla Cannabis Seeds, is owned and operated by a named individual. The legal disclaimer still ends with the name and address of Rhino Trading UK Ltd in Weston-super-Mare. According to Companies House, Rhino Trading UK Limited (company 06753583, incorporated in 2008, internet retail) was dissolved via compulsory strike-off on July 7, 2026. The shop itself was running normally on October 22, 2026, but the terms now name an individual rather than a limited company as the operator, which matters if you ever need to escalate a dispute.
Gorilla sells seeds strictly as “collectable genetic preservation souvenirs”. Its disclaimer points out that cultivating cannabis in the UK without a Home Office licence is an offence under section 6 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, and its terms say it may cancel orders where it believes the products will be used unlawfully. The same model explains why there is no germination support (see below).
Catalog and Seed Types
The catalog is the strongest part of the shop. The breeder page lists 46 active breeders and 19 marked as retired (the page itself mentions both “50+” and “80+” breeders). Active names include Barney’s Farm, Fast Buds, Royal Queen Seeds, Dutch Passion, Sensi Seeds, Nirvana Seeds, Delicious Seeds, Green House Seeds, DNA Genetics, Humboldt Seed Company, Anesia, Sweet Seeds and Terp Farmz. Dinafem is no longer among the active breeders; Gorilla lists Silent Seeds as its continuation.
On October 22, 2026 the feminized category showed 1,884 products, 1,355 of them in stock. The autoflower category showed 697 products (536 in stock) and the triploid category 12 (9 in stock). Regular seeds, for example from Sensi Seeds, are available through the search. In short, there are plenty of feminized and autoflower options for indoor and outdoor growers, plus some CBD strains. Our guide to feminized vs autoflower vs regular seeds explains the differences.
Two things to know about stock. Gorilla says branded seeds come in the original breeder packaging, and that some seeds are “ordered in” from suppliers after you order, which adds a working day to dispatch. Not every pack size is always available: on October 22, only the single seed of Special Kush 1 could be bought, while the 3, 5 and 10 packs were listed but not available.
Prices and Pack Sizes
Most strains come in 1, 3, 5 and 10 seed packs, depending on the breeder. These are the prices shown on October 22, 2026 (UK prices including VAT):
| Strain (breeder, type) | 1 seed | 3 seeds | 5 seeds | 10 seeds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Auto Gelato (Feminised Seeds, autoflower) | £4.19 | £12.59 (£4.20/seed) | £20.99 (£4.20/seed) | £36.74 (£3.67/seed) |
| Girl Scout Cookies (Feminised Seeds, feminized) | £7.41 | £14.83 (£4.94/seed) | £26.48 (£5.30/seed) | £47.67 (£4.77/seed) |
| Wedding Cake (Barney’s Farm, feminized) | £12.72 | £29.24 (£9.75/seed) | £47.04 (£9.41/seed) | £89.00 (£8.90/seed) |
| Gorilla Cookies Auto (Fast Buds, autoflower) | £12.18 | £33.90 (£11.30/seed) | £51.91 (£10.38/seed) | £93.75 (£9.38/seed) |
Budget house lines such as Feminised Seeds cost roughly £4 to £5 a seed in larger packs, while big-name breeders such as Barney’s Farm and Fast Buds run about £9 to £12 a seed. The cheapest single seed in our sample was Special Kush 1 from Royal Queen Seeds at £3.40. Breeder discounts are applied in the basket, not on the product page: with the October 15% Royal Queen Seeds offer, that seed dropped to £2.98 in a UK basket (the 15% comes off the price before VAT; £2.89 with a non-UK address). Terp Farmz’s 40% is also taken off in the basket: a Black Zushi 5-pack listed at £37.08 came to £24.72 in a UK basket.
Gorilla advertises a price match (“If you find the same cannabis seeds cheaper anywhere else, we’ll match that price”) on its best price page, without further terms, so ask support before you rely on it. Accounts are optional; guest checkout is possible.
Shipping by Region
United Kingdom. Gorilla uses Royal Mail. The postage FAQ and product pages say orders over £50 get free Tracked 48 delivery, and our checkout test matched that: £3.99 for standard tracked delivery on a smaller basket, free on a basket of about £78. Special Delivery costs £9.80 according to the FAQ and £9.95 at checkout. Two other pages disagree: one free shipping FAQ says free delivery starts over £40, and the older free gifts page still says over £99. The order arrival page even says UK orders over £50 go by Royal Mail Tracked 24, while the other pages say free Tracked 48. The delivery times page quotes 1 to 4 working days after dispatch (allow up to 10 if Royal Mail is slow).
Dispatch. In-stock seeds ordered before the cut-off on a weekday go out the same working day; seeds ordered in from suppliers normally leave the next working day. The cut-off is 2pm on the homepage and 3pm on the breeder and product pages, and another FAQ says UK orders usually leave within 1 to 3 working days. Plan on the cautious figure if timing matters.
US, Canada, EU and Australia. The FAQ says Gorilla ships to most countries and gives two different estimates: 5 to 12 working days on the delivery times page, about 2 to 3 weeks on the order arrival page. At checkout, only the US address got a standard tracked rate (£7). For Canadian, Australian, German, French, Dutch, Irish, Spanish and New Zealand addresses, the standard method showed “not available, please contact us”, leaving only the option labelled Royal Mail Special Delivery. Contact Gorilla before ordering from outside the UK and the US, and check your own country’s rules on importing seeds.
Packaging and lost parcels. Orders go out in plain outer packaging. There is no paid stealth upgrade on the current site. If a parcel goes missing, the lost order FAQ asks UK customers to wait 10 working days after dispatch and international customers 12, and says genuinely lost orders are replaced. For Tracked 48, the delivery options page says Royal Mail requires 7 working days past the estimated delivery date before a replacement can be arranged.
Shipping to the US does not make growing legal everywhere. Seed and cultivation laws differ by state, and the federal hemp definition is changing in stages between November 12 and December 11, 2026 (P.L. 119-37, section 781, as amended by P.L. 119-103), which may affect how cannabis seeds can be sold and shipped (Congressional Research Service summary). Check your state and local rules before you order.
Germination Guarantee: There Isn’t One
Gorilla does not offer a germination guarantee, and it does not advertise a germination rate either. Its germination page says seeds are sold “strictly as collectable genetic preservation souvenirs” and that Gorilla “cannot provide advice or respond to any enquiries relating to the germination or growing of cannabis seeds”. The contact page repeats that messages about germination will not get a reply.
What is covered: missing or damaged items, wrong items and lost parcels, handled through support. Returns are possible for unopened packs, but the window depends on which page you read: 28 days on the returns policy, 14 days in the terms and privacy policy, and 7 days on the unwanted seeds page. Returns must go back by tracked post, Gorilla does not cover returns lost in transit, and opened packs cannot be refunded. If you need a seller that replaces seeds that fail to sprout, look elsewhere.
On seed quality itself, Gorilla says it supplies genuine breeder packs and stores stock in climate-controlled conditions. We could not verify that independently. Some Reviews.io reviewers in 2026 reported seeds that did not germinate, alongside many who reported no problems.
Payment Methods
The payment FAQ lists credit and debit cards, bank transfer, bitcoin and cash. The checkout shows more detail. With a UK address, we were offered Instant Bank Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit or debit card, standard bank transfer and “Cash / Crypto”. With a US address, only Instant Bank Pay and “Cash / Crypto” appeared.
Gorilla accepts bitcoin, litecoin and ether. A bitcoin invoice expires after 15 minutes; if it lapses, you need to place a new order or contact Gorilla. Cash is for UK customers only. The name on your bank statement depends on the payment processor and is confirmed after you order. Gorilla says it never stores card details. PayPal is not offered.
Deals, Free Seeds and Discount Codes
As of October 2026, these are the ways to pay less at Gorilla Seeds:
October breeder offers. The offers page lists 15% off Anesia Seeds, Royal Queen Seeds and Dutch Passion, and 40% off Terp Farmz (replacing an earlier buy one, get one free deal). Fast Buds 3, 5 and 10 seed packs come with 1, 2 or 3 extra free seeds. No code is needed for any of these.
Discount codes. The coupon FAQ still tells customers to enter 5PER for 5% off, but the checkout rejected that code as invalid on October 22, 2026. We found no other working published code. Only one code can be used per order, and automatic deals may replace a code.
Free seeds. Every order includes free seeds, but the details differ by page. The free seeds FAQ promises 1 free seed on all orders, plus an extra one over £50 and another over £100, and warns that out-of-stock freebies are substituted. The free gifts page names Free OG Kush on all orders, Gelato over £49.99 and GG4 over £99.99 (based on the seed value excluding VAT). Our test basket of about £33 received a free five-seed pack of Bruce Banner Auto automatically, so the live promotion can be more generous than both pages suggest.
Loyalty. None listed. Customers who leave verified product reviews on the Gorilla website get an entry into a monthly T-shirt draw. The affiliate program is paused.
Customer Service
Gorilla offers two ways to reach support, plus an FAQ:
- A contact form (include your order number)
- Email: andy [at] gorillaseeds.com
- An online FAQ / Support Centre covering shipping, payments, returns and promotions
No phone number is published on the website, and there is no live chat on the site. One FAQ says replies usually come within a few working hours, the contact page says replies come during normal working hours. Questions about germination or growing are not answered at all.
Independent reviews show a split picture on support. Many Reviews.io reviewers praise fast, friendly help, and several mention Andy by name. The most common complaint in the one-star and two-star reviews of 2026 is slow or missing replies to emails, for example a reviewer on October 8, 2026 who received 1 of 5 ordered items and had not heard back after two weeks, and another on October 11 who had no update a week after ordering (that reviewer later posted that the order arrived). We found no Better Business Bureau profile for Gorilla Seeds.
Reputation
Reviews.io. Gorilla’s Reviews.io page showed 4.5 out of 5 from 403 reviews on October 22, 2026, with 87% of reviewers recommending the shop. Of those reviews, 325 are five-star and 28 one-star. In the 12 months to October 22, 2026, there were 171 reviews: 132 five-star and 19 one-star. Recurring complaints are slow email replies, missing or wrong items, seeds that did not germinate, and a July 2026 report of paying for an item that turned out to be out of stock. Not all reviews are from verified buyers.
SeedFinder. On SeedFinder, Gorilla Seed Bank has a General Impression score of 7.27 out of 10 from 36 user reviews (checked October 22, 2026), with Delivery Speed rated highest (8.5) and Customer service lowest (6.59). Those reviews date from 2015 to 2024, more than half of them from 2016 and 2017, so they say little about the shop today.
Other platforms. The SmartCustomer page has a single review from 2016, too little to weigh. Gorilla’s own site shows “4.6 avg” and verified product reviews; those are on-site figures collected by the shop, and its review draw gives customers an incentive to post. We could not find dated Reddit threads about this shop that we could verify, so forum anecdotes play no part in this score.
Website and Usability
The shop is easy to browse: filters for breeder, starting pack price, THC, yield, height and flowering time, an in-stock toggle, and a GBP/USD currency switch. Product pages list pack sizes, genetics and breeder-stated flowering times.
The weak point is consistency. On October 22, 2026, Gorilla’s own pages gave three free-shipping thresholds (£40, £50 and £99), two UK services for orders over £50 (Tracked 24 and Tracked 48), three return windows (7, 14 and 28 days), two dispatch cut-offs (2pm and 3pm), two international delivery estimates and two prices for Special Delivery. The coupon FAQ advertises a code that checkout rejects, and the legal disclaimer names a company that has been dissolved. When pages disagree, go by what the checkout shows and confirm anything important with support.
Who Gorilla Seeds Suits, and Who Should Look Elsewhere
A good fit if you: live in the UK and want many breeders in one order with free tracked delivery over £50; want hard-to-find breeders or triploid seeds; are happy to compare pack prices and use monthly breeder discounts; or pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer, cash or crypto from a UK address.
Look elsewhere if you: want a germination guarantee or any help with germination; live outside the UK and the US and want a clear shipping rate before you order; are a US buyer who wants to pay by card; or prefer a seller with consistent, clearly written policies.
Scoring Summary
| Category | Score |
|---|---|
| Seed Quality and Germination | 5.5/10 |
| Shipping and Delivery | 6.0/10 |
| Customer Service | 5.8/10 |
| Product Range | 8.0/10 |
| Price and Value | 7.0/10 |
| Website and UX | 5.0/10 |
| Overall | 6.1/10 |
Gorilla Seeds scores 6.1/10 overall. Product Range is the clear strength at 8.0/10: 46 active breeders, about 1,355 feminized and 536 autoflower products in stock, plus regular and triploid seeds. Price and Value follows at 7.0/10, with single seeds from £3.40, 10-packs from £3.67 a seed, free seeds on every order and monthly breeder discounts of 15 to 40%, held back by a dead coupon code and unclear free-seed tiers.
Shipping and Delivery lands at 6.0/10: UK buyers get same-day dispatch for in-stock seeds and free Tracked 48 over £50, but a standard international rate is only shown for the US, and delivery estimates conflict. Customer Service scores 5.8/10 for a form and one email address, no phone, no germination support and recurring reports of slow replies, offset by many positive reviews. Seed Quality and Germination gets 5.5/10 because there is no germination guarantee at all, and independent reviews include germination complaints. Website and UX scores 5.0/10: a good shop front, undermined by policy pages that contradict each other on shipping, returns and dispatch.

If you like Gorilla’s model of many breeders under one roof, our Seedsman review and Herbies review cover two other large multi-breeder catalogs. For other shops that sell to UK buyers, see our London Seed Centre review and MSNL review. If a germination guarantee or card payment from the US matters to you, check those sections in each review first.
Final Verdict
Gorilla Seeds is an established UK reseller, which says it has traded since 2011, with one of the broader breeder line-ups we have reviewed and sensible UK delivery terms: same-day dispatch for in-stock seeds, free Tracked 48 over £50 and replacement of genuinely lost parcels. Free seeds on every order and monthly breeder discounts add value.
The drawbacks are concrete. There is no germination guarantee and no germination support, buyers outside the UK get limited shipping and payment options, and the website contradicts itself on free shipping, returns and dispatch times. The company named in the legal disclaimer was dissolved in July 2026, and the terms now name an individual owner. For UK buyers who know which breeder and pack they want, Gorilla is a workable choice; everyone else should compare it with the alternatives in our seedbank review hub.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where is Gorilla Seeds based, and who owns it?
Gorilla Seeds is based in England and ships from the UK. Its terms name an individual as owner and operator, trading as Gorilla Cannabis Seeds. The legal disclaimer still names Rhino Trading UK Ltd, which Companies House shows as dissolved on July 7, 2026.
Does Gorilla Seeds ship to the USA?
Yes. Our checkout test showed a £7 tracked option for a US address, and the FAQ quotes about 2 to 3 weeks for international delivery. US addresses can pay only by Instant Bank Pay or cash and crypto. Seed laws differ by state, so check your local rules before you order.
How long does Gorilla Seeds take to ship?
In-stock seeds ordered before the weekday cut-off (2pm or 3pm, depending on the page) leave the same working day; seeds ordered in from suppliers leave the next working day. UK delivery usually takes 1 to 4 working days after dispatch. International delivery takes 5 to 12 working days or 2 to 3 weeks, depending on which FAQ page you read.
Where does Gorilla Seeds ship from?
All orders ship from the UK through Royal Mail.
Is Gorilla Seeds legit?
Gorilla Seeds, which says it has traded since 2011, holds 4.5 out of 5 from 403 reviews on Reviews.io (checked October 22, 2026), with complaints mainly about slow email replies and missing items. It has no germination guarantee, its policy pages contradict each other, and the company named in its disclaimer was dissolved in July 2026.
Does Gorilla Seeds have a germination guarantee?
No. Gorilla sells seeds as collectible souvenirs and does not answer questions about germination or growing. Unopened packs can be returned, and lost or wrong orders are handled by support.
What payment methods does Gorilla Seeds accept?
With a UK address: credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Instant Bank Pay, bank transfer, and cash or crypto (bitcoin, litecoin, ether). With a US address, checkout offered only Instant Bank Pay and cash or crypto. PayPal is not offered.
Are there Gorilla Seeds discount codes?
Not working ones that we found. The coupon FAQ lists 5PER for 5% off, but checkout rejected it on October 22, 2026. The October offers (15% off Anesia, Royal Queen Seeds and Dutch Passion, 40% off Terp Farmz, extra free Fast Buds seeds) apply automatically without a code.
Does Gorilla Seeds offer free shipping?
For UK orders, yes: the postage FAQ and our checkout test show free Tracked 48 delivery over £50, although other pages on the site still mention £40 and £99. We saw no free shipping for US orders.
What changed in this update. This review replaces a short 2021 version without scores. Several details in that version no longer apply: the catalog now lists 46 active breeders rather than “over 60”, single seeds start at £3.40 instead of £9.49, and the paid stealth option with free reshipment is no longer offered. We also added the ownership details, the lack of a germination guarantee and the shipping and payment limits for buyers outside the UK.
