The single most important fact for buyers right now: SHN has announced that December 11, 2026 is its last day to order seeds, and its October deals page names December 4 as the last day to order for US shipping. Clones will stay on sale after that. Our verdict: a long-running domestic shop with one of the widest US breeder catalogs, cheap flat-rate shipping and generous freebies, held back by a store-credit-only guarantee, mixed recent customer feedback and a seed catalog with an end date. Buying Seeds Here Now Seeds From the USA: Act Before December
Seeds Here Now has been one of the few multi-breeder seed banks shipping from inside the US, so you avoid customs and transatlantic delays. That is about to change. A countdown banner on every page of the site reads “Last Day To Order Seeds: Dec 11” and adds that clones keep selling after that date. A store notice and the October deals page also say “Last day to order for US shipping: Dec 4”. The countdown banner links to SHN’s Section 781 explainer with the line “Seeds contain 0% THC. Congress banned them anyway.” The explainer describes the new federal hemp definition that excludes viable seeds from plants above 0.3% total THC.
In practice: if you want seeds from SHN, order well before December 4 and keep your order confirmation. After December 11, expect seed sales to stop; SHN says clones will keep selling. Read the legal note in the shipping section below before you order.
Who Seeds Here Now Is
According to its About page and help center, Seeds Here Now began in 2010 as WASeedBank.com in Washington State (another SHN page names Kenmore, Washington). The Internet Archive has copies of waseedbank.com from 2014, and from December 2014 the old domain redirected. Founder James Bean also hosts the Grow Bud Yourself podcast, which SHN promotes on its site.
The contact page names the company as SHN Holdings JCV LLC at 3963 S. Highway 97 #284, Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and the Better Business Bureau lists the same address. Cash, check and money order payments go to a different address: a mail and parcel center in Medford, Oregon, which SHN says is not its headquarters. We could not confirm the LLC in a public business database. One oddity: the terms page spells the company “SHN Holdings JVC LLC” and says the laws of Spain apply, which looks like leftover template text.
Catalog and Seed Types
The catalog is much bigger than the “70+ breeders” figure SHN still uses on some pages. On October 22, 2026 the store listed 2,374 products in stock across 128 breeder categories (117 of them with products), including Ethos Genetics, Exotic Genetix, Raw Genetics, Automatically Delicious, Humboldt Seed Company, Fast Buds, Elite Clone Seed Company, Dr. Blaze, Crockett Family Farms, T.H. Seeds, Seedsman, Barney’s Farm and Dutch Passion. Many strains appear in more than one pack size, so the number of distinct strains is lower. SHN itself claims access to 3,500+ strains with 1,250+ in stock.
By type, the store counted about 1,235 feminized listings, 835 regular, 422 autoflower and a handful of CBD seeds. The regular range is the standout: it is unusually deep for a US shop, which matters if you hunt phenotypes or make your own crosses. Clones. SHN also sells rooted cannabis clones (29 listings on October 22, 2026, priced $97.88 to $98.88 with shipping included). Its clone ordering page says every strain is pre-tested for known pathogens, routinely tested for hop latent viroid (HLVd) and screened for powdery mildew and russet mites, with new razors and fresh rooting gel per strain. These are SHN’s own statements; per-strain test certificates are not posted. Clones ship Monday to Wednesday and not abroad. The clone ordering page says they go anywhere in the US including Alaska (not Hawaii), but the Super Clones listings (16 of the 29) exclude Alaska, Hawaii and Alabama, so check the product page before you order. Every clone order carries a $10 adult signature fee.

Pack sizes depend on the breeder: 3, 5, 6, 10, 12 and 13 seeds are common, and some brands offer bulk packs of 25 to 100. These are regular (non-sale) prices we saw on October 22, 2026:

Across the 924 listings with a single, clear pack size, the median was about $13 a seed, and the middle half of listings sat between roughly $9.89 and $18.89. The cheapest per seed was Purple Pillow F2 from Uruz Seeds at $38.88 for 12 regular seeds ($3.24 each). At the top end, limited “Last Pack” and vault listings from hyped breeders run well over $60 a seed. In short: classic and European lines are fairly priced, while US craft genetics carry a clear premium. Sales soften that: on October 22, 2026, 1,025 listings were marked down, for example Thug Roze R1 at $50.05 instead of $58.88.
Two practical notes: SHN does not accept returns or give cash refunds (problems are settled in site credit, see the guarantee below), and it cannot combine or change orders once they are placed.
Shipping by Region
The shipping policy says all orders ship from the United States with tracking and discreet packaging, and that billing is discreet. We checked the rates in SHN’s checkout for a small seed order and for orders over $100 on October 22, 2026.
United States. First Class Mail costs $9.88, Priority Mail $14.88, Priority with signature $19.88 and Priority Mail Express $44.98. Orders over $100 get free domestic shipping (the free option appeared at $116.64, not at $98.88). The policy gives no dispatch or delivery time; SHN’s price-beater page mentions “standard 3-5 business days” in an example. The help center says SHN cannot ship to Kansas or Kentucky with credit card payments; orders to those two states must be paid by cash or money order.
Canada. Two options: $19.99 without duties paid, or $35.99 with duties paid.
United Kingdom and Europe. International First Class is $17.88, International Priority $68.88 and Priority with signature $78.88. There is no free-shipping threshold outside the US. Italy, Poland, Norway and Malta are on SHN’s do-not-ship list, and buyers pay any customs duties. SHN does not refund or resend parcels seized by customs or returned because duties were not paid.
Australia. Not shipped. Australia and New Zealand are on the do-not-ship list, and checkout offers no shipping option.
Packaging. Seeds go in a brown paper bag inside a small flat-rate-size box with a plain, logo-free label, and words such as “seed”, “cannabis” or “grow” are removed from delivery addresses. SHN will not repack seeds or hide them in other objects. It is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen or sent to a wrong address entered at checkout.
Shipping to the US does not make growing legal everywhere. Seed and cultivation laws differ by state, and the federal hemp definition is changing in stages between November 12 and December 11, 2026 (P.L. 119-37, section 781, as amended by P.L. 119-103), which may affect how cannabis seeds can be sold and shipped (Congressional Research Service summary). Check your state and local rules before you order.
Germination Guarantee: What the Grower’s Guarantee Covers
SHN advertises a “100% Grower’s Guarantee”. It is not a percentage promise or a free reshipment. The Grower’s Guarantee page sets these terms:
- What it covers: non-germination, a “dud” seed or another genetic issue where the product does not meet your expectations. It applies to full-price and clearance seeds and to auction packs.
- What you get: reward points in your account for the full value of the product, which you can spend on any item. No cash refund to your card.
- What you pay: standard shipping and handling on the replacement order.
- How to claim: submit the replacement form with your order details. SHN says it reviews requests within 24 to 48 business hours (the form page says 6 to 12 hours). Guest buyers can claim too.
- Limits: a “3-strikes” rule: more than three replacements within a five-order period may lead SHN to contact you, and in clear cases of abuse it can restrict replacements or close the account.
The help center still carries older wording that is stricter: points for one pack per order, up to three packs in total “during your stay”, with free gifts excluded. SHN does not publish a claim deadline on the guarantee page, and the replacement form asks for 2 to 3 photos of the issue as an optional field. Because the two pages disagree, keep your order number and photos of your germination setup, and contact SHN promptly. Clones have a separate 48-hour guarantee on the clone ordering page: report a problem within 48 hours of delivery (the homepage says 3 days).
Payment Methods
On October 22, 2026, SHN’s checkout offered five options: crypto (Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, USDT and USDC on ERC20), credit card through Authorize.Net, cash, money order and personal check. The help center confirms Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit and debit cards and shows “SeedsHereNow” on card statements, but it lists different coins (Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Dogecoin), so check checkout before you send crypto. SHN cannot refund crypto, only credit your account.
Personal checks are capped at $325 for a first order and $750 after that, and orders are held until the check clears. Cash and money orders must be in US dollars and arrive within 14 days, or the order is cancelled. We found no PayPal option and no crypto discount; checkout mentions a cash discount without stating its size.
Deals, Loyalty and Discount Codes
As of October 2026, these are the ways to pay less at Seeds Here Now:
Monthly deals. The October deals page lists 15% off Kush strains (Flavor of the Month), 50% off Irie Genetics (Breeder of the Month, Vault Release packs excluded), up to 50% off in the Last Call Sale and a 100-seed bundle for $350. Monthly deals end October 31.
Free seeds. According to the freebies page, every seed order ships with at least one free seed. Orders under $100 also get a free Bubba Kush hemp 3-pack while supplies last; from $100 you get one free 3-pack, from $251 two, from $501 three (plus a Toker Poker), from $750 four and from $1,000 five. Freebies are packer’s pick, and clone orders are excluded.
SHN Rewards Points. The rewards program gives 1 point per $10 spent, and 1 point is worth $1, so about 10% back. You need 2 points to redeem, points expire after 18 months, and sale items and orders paid with points earn nothing. The rewards page says coupon orders earn points on the discounted total, while the help center says both: reduced points in one answer and no points in another.
Coupon and promo codes. We found no public code on the site on October 22, 2026. SHN says it posts codes on social media and in ads; its newsletter promises exclusive offers and monthly deals. Only one code works per order, and codes do not apply to sale, BOGO, New (stocked within 90 days), Flash or Presale items, or together with reward points.
Price beater. Send a screenshot of an authorized competitor selling the identical item in stock for less, and SHN promises to beat that price by $10, replying within one business day. It cannot be combined with other offers, and auction sites and clearance items are excluded.
Auctions. Rare packs are auctioned on SHN’s separate auction site, shnauctions.com, with new auctions every Tuesday that end Wednesdays at 7:10 pm Pacific. The reverse auction on the main site has ended.

Seeds Here Now offers more channels than most seed banks:

- SeedFinder lists Seeds Here Now as “green” (recommended). Its General Impression score is 8.18/10, but that rests on only 7 user reviews from 2018 to 2023, which range from praise for quick replacements to complaints about poor germination.
- eKomi, a review service SHN uses to collect feedback after orders, shows 4.3/5 from 678 reviews (3,762 reviews in total) and an 88% positive share.
- The BBB profile was opened on October 7, 2026 and is not yet rated.
- SHN’s About page claims a 4.6-star rating from 2,849+ verified customers. That is the shop’s own figure.
Reddit. Threads about SHN are split between loyal repeat buyers and frustrated ones. Recurring themes:
- Germination complaints on specific packs: in a June 11, 2023 r/microgrowery thread, a buyer reported 6 of 7 Blood Honey, 2 of 3 Good Time and 4 of 6 Durban Poison seeds failing, and said the replacement came as store credit he could not use. James Bean replied in the thread with an apology and explained the credit policy. Other commenters there reported good germination and smooth replacements.
- Legitimacy questions with mostly positive answers: a March 17, 2021 thread and a June 9, 2023 thread drew replies from repeat buyers who paid by check, money order and Bitcoin without problems.
- Slow responses and unhonored price matches: later comments in those threads (December 2024 to October 2026) describe an order delayed for two months (the buyer later added that it shipped with extras), price-match and discount requests left unanswered, and unreturned emails.
- Generous freebies: an April 5, 2024 r/GrowingMarijuana thread came from a first-time buyer who ordered 5 seeds and received 11.
Forum anecdotes are hard to verify, so we weigh them as themes, not as proof. The pattern is consistent, though: when SHN responds, buyers are usually happy, but response times and the credit-only replacement policy are the main sources of complaints.

The site is easy to shop: clear menus for feminized, regular, autoflower, clones, breeders and deals, and every listing shows seed type, THC range and lineage. The weak spot is consistency. The guarantee page and help center describe different replacement limits, the help center and checkout list different cryptocurrencies, the rewards page and help center disagree on points for coupon orders, the breeder count varies between 70+, 80+ and 100+ on different pages, the contact page shows two sets of phone hours, the clone pages disagree on Alaska and on the clone guarantee window, and the terms point to Spanish law. When pages conflict, go by the specific policy page (guarantee, shipping) and confirm at checkout.
Who Seeds Here Now Suits, and Who Should Look Elsewhere
A good fit if you: live in the US and want packs from US craft breeders without customs risk, ideally ordered before December 4, 2026; hunt phenotypes or breed and need a deep regular-seed range; want live clones (which SHN says it will keep selling); pay by check, money order or cash; or buy enough to benefit from free shipping over $100, free 3-packs and 10% back in points.
