Buying From Greenpoint Seeds in the USA
Greenpoint is a domestic US shop, so there is no customs step. The shipping page says standard shipping is free on every US order with no minimum. In-stock orders paid before 4 PM Eastern, Monday to Friday, go out the same day; later orders and weekend orders ship the next business day.
The site’s legal disclaimer says buyers must be at least 21, that seeds are sold “strictly as collectible souvenirs”, and that customers must follow local, state and federal law. We found no published requirement to upload an ID. See the legal note in the shipping section below.
Who Greenpoint Seeds Is
Greenpoint started as a forum-era breeding project. Its founder introduced the brand on THCFarmer on November 11, 2014, describing a legal growing space in Denver and a first lineup built on a Monster Cookies male crossed to a range of mothers, with Stardawg work already underway. A Rollitup thread started in December 2014 now runs to more than 2,400 pages. According to its About page, the operation later moved to a farm in Florida, where breeding and packing now take place.
The company behind the shop is Gualdi LLC. The site footer names Gualdi LLC, the company’s own purchase agreement (published as its refund policy page) describes it as a Florida limited liability company doing business as Greenpoint Seeds, and the Florida Division of Corporations lists GUALDI LLC (document number L20000015338) as active. The site’s imprint gives a Lake Mary, Florida address but still refers to a Colorado registration, which does not match the Florida filing.
Catalog and Seed Types
This is a breeder’s shop, not a multi-brand seedbank. On October 22, 2026 the store listed 53 products: 19 feminized, 13 autoflower and 15 regular strains, 5 tester listings and one listing for the shop’s crypto token. We found no third-party breeders in the catalog. Pack sizes are fixed: 6 seeds for feminized photoperiods and autoflowers, 10 seeds for regulars.
Examples on the shelf include Stardawg F2 and other Stardawg-based regulars, newer feminized crosses such as Gelato V3, White Cherry Truffle, Prism Drip and Kero Pop, and autoflowers such as Wedding Cake Auto, Blue Dream Auto, Northern Lights Auto and Headband Auto. Most listings name the parents and flowering time, and a shop by parent strain tool searches by lineage, but no THC or yield figures are given.
New releases come as scheduled “drops”: the drops calendar listed planned releases from December 2026 into 2027 (dates are estimates), and tester packs of unreleased crosses are sold through the testers page.

Across the catalog, feminized 6-packs ran from $42 to $80, autoflower 6-packs from $42 to $64 and regular 10-packs from $36 to $68. Tester packs of new crosses were listed at $32 to $35. On the free US lane, the list price is the full cost.
The lowest prices come from the reverse auctions, covered below. On October 22, 2026, for example, Wedding Cake Auto was on the auction board at $27.56 instead of $42 (about $4.59 a seed).
Shipping by Region
United States. Orders are packed in Ocala, Florida. The shipping page lists four options:
- Free, untracked: regular mail, about 10 to 12 business days, no tracking number.
- USPS Ground Advantage: about 3 to 5 business days, tracked.
- USPS Priority Mail: about 2 to 3 business days, tracked.
- UPS Next Day Air: next business day after dispatch, tracked and insured.

Outside the US. The shipping page says the free lane is available outside the US on orders from $35, untracked, with delivery in up to 8 weeks. On October 22, 2026 the shop’s shipping options for Canada, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa showed this free lane plus tracked options; Brazil showed no option. Greenpoint does not publish a country list, and the homepage banner (“Free shipping on every order”) does not mention the $35 international minimum. The shop says seeds are declared on customs forms as souvenirs and that any duty or tax is the buyer’s responsibility. Importing cannabis seeds is illegal or restricted in many countries, so check your national rules before ordering from abroad.
Packaging. Orders go out in a plain mailer, and the return address shows only “GPS”.
Shipping to the US does not make growing legal everywhere. Seed and cultivation laws differ by state, and the federal hemp definition is changing in stages between November 12 and December 11, 2026 (P.L. 119-37, section 781, as amended by P.L. 119-103), which may affect how cannabis seeds can be sold and shipped (Congressional Research Service summary). Check your state and local rules before you order.
Germination Guarantee: The Exact Terms
Greenpoint publishes a germination guarantee policy. It does not promise a germination percentage. The key terms:
- What you get: a one-time replacement for a first-time germination failure.
- Who qualifies: you bought directly from Greenpoint Seeds, you followed its recommended germination method (the policy links to its germination guide), and you claim within 60 days of purchase.
- Exclusions: sale items (“Discounted seeds are not eligible for replacement”), repeat failed batches, seeds bought from third parties, other germination methods, seeds stored for more than a year, and seeds exposed to heat, cold or humidity.
- How to claim: send proof of purchase, your germination method step by step and photos of the failed seeds, by text to the shop number or by email from the support page.
- Changes: the shop reserves the right to modify the policy at any time.
The sale-item exclusion matters here, because Greenpoint’s best prices come from reverse auctions and sales. The homepage footer says so (“Germination guarantee: sale items excluded”), but product pages simply say “Germination guaranteed”, even on discounted auction listings. If a guarantee is important to you, buy at full price and record your germination steps from the start.
For refunds, the terms and conditions (last updated July 6, 2023) describe a 30-day right of withdrawal, while the page titled “Refund Policy” is a business-to-business hemp seed purchase agreement with blank fields. Ask the shop in writing before relying on either.
Payment Methods
Greenpoint does not list its payment methods on a policy page; its contact page says to use the methods shown at checkout. On October 22, 2026 the shop’s cart offered three: card payment processed by Authorize.net, Cash App, and its own $WEEDSEED token. The accepted card brands are not listed outside the payment form. A Greenpoint blog post last updated in March 2024 also mentions money order, check, cash and other crypto, but none of those were offered, and the contact page warns that older announcements may be out of date.
$WEEDSEED is a token on the Solana blockchain. The coin page says paying with it gives 10% off. You do not need it to buy seeds, and we make no recommendation about it.
Deals, Loyalty and Discount Codes
As of October 2026, these are the ways to pay less at Greenpoint Seeds:
Reverse auctions. The auction board shows four strains at a time. Prices fall 10% every 10 minutes until someone buys, then that pack resets to full price and starts falling again. On October 22, 2026 the board held four strains at 10% to 34% below list. Auction packs are discounted, so the germination guarantee does not cover them.
Free tester packs. The page for the Joker Juice tester series says one tester pack ships free with orders of $75 or more of seeds (one free pack per order). The drops calendar also lists free tester drops on set dates, which tend to go quickly.
Discount codes. We found no public coupon code on the site on October 22, 2026. Paying with the $WEEDSEED token gives 10% off. A Reddit user who asked about coupons in January 2026 was told the shop does not really use them. Treat codes on third-party coupon sites with caution.
Loyalty program. We found no points or tier program on the site.
Customer Service
The contact page lists these channels:

- A Discord community that the shop says has more than 400 growers, and a Telegram channel for drop alerts.

On public complaint handling, we found no Better Business Bureau profile for Greenpoint Seeds, and a March 2024 Reddit complaint thread (see Reputation) drew a strongly critical response from other users.
Reputation
On-site reviews. The homepage showed 4.7/5 from 6,619 product reviews, while the reviews page showed 4.7 “based on 9,473 reviews” (both on-site, checked October 22, 2026). The two counts do not match, and on-site reviews are moderated by the shop.
Trustindex. The Trustindex page for greenpointseeds.com showed 4.6 out of 5 from 498 reviews, with reviews posted through October 2026. Trustindex is a review-collection service that businesses use, so it is not fully independent; its negative reviews mention crushed packaging and short orders.
Grower platforms. On SeedFinder, Greenpoint’s General Impression score was 9.67/10 from only 7 reviews, the most recent from March 2024. GrowDiaries rated it 8.4 from 50 reviews across 140 grow diaries; growers there praise potency and easy growth, while the most common complaints are hermaphrodite plants, runts and variable results within a pack. SmartCustomer has a single 2/5 review from 2019 (all checked October 22, 2026).
Reddit. Themes from threads we checked:
- “DO NOT BUY FROM GREENPOINT SEEDS” (r/autoflowers, March 10, 2024): a customer reported autoflower seeds that did not germinate and shared an exchange with the shop. The thread drew about 100 comments, most of them critical of how the complaint was handled, while a few noted quick shipping and good packaging.
- “Is Greenpoint Seeds White Label?” (r/MarijuanaSeeds, January 18, 2025): replies say Greenpoint makes its own seeds and offers low auction prices, but several describe the lines as less stable than small-batch breeders, with a lot of variation between plants.

The weak points are in the paperwork: payment methods are not listed on a policy page, review counts differ between pages, the terms date from July 2023, the “Refund Policy” page is an unfilled business contract, and the imprint still mentions Colorado.
