Last updated: October 22, 2026

Ministry of Cannabis (MoC) is a Barcelona seed breeder that sells only its own feminized and autoflowering strains through its own webshop. It ships worldwide by registered mail, including to the US, Canada, the UK and Australia, and shipping is free on orders over €75. Our verdict: a long-running, transparent shop with clear shipping rules and fair prices, held back by a small catalog, slow delivery outside Europe and no germination guarantee. We score it 6.2/10.

This review is based on Ministry of Cannabis’ published policies, current prices on its webshop, a checkout test of shipping rates and independent customer feedback. All facts were checked on October 22, 2026.

Buying Ministry of Cannabis Seeds from the USA

US orders are accepted. When we put seeds in the cart with a US address on October 22, 2026, checkout offered one method: registered mail for €12, or free once the order passed €75. No courier option was shown for the US. The shipping page quotes 15 to 30 days to North America and states that these times are a reference, not a commitment. Registered mail needs a signature; if nobody is home, the carrier leaves a notice and you collect the parcel at the post office.

Prices are in euros and cards are always charged in euros, so your bank may add a foreign transaction fee. MoC’s terms say you should only order where cannabis seeds are legal and that seeds are sold as souvenirs. Read the legal note in the shipping section below before you order.

Who Ministry of Cannabis Is

On its homepage, Ministry of Cannabis says it was founded in 2007 and has bred only feminized seeds since 2009. The copyright line reads “2007-2026”. A 2010 press release described the company as Amsterdam-based, with a catalog of twelve feminized strains at the time. Today the shop lists a Barcelona address.

The company behind the webshop is Web Experts Management S.L.U., named on the terms page and in the footer with its Barcelona address and Spanish VAT number. A Spanish company directory lists Web Experts Management SL as active, with operations starting in April 2013. So the operating company is younger than the brand.

Unlike a multi-breeder seedbank, MoC sells only its own genetics, plus a few t-shirts. The site runs in eight languages: English, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Czech and Polish.

Catalog and Seed Types

The catalog is small. On October 22, 2026 the webshop listed 26 strains: 13 feminized photoperiod strains and 13 autoflowers. Four of the 26 (two photoperiod, two auto) are sold as CBD strains. On top of that come five combo packs. The breeder’s page on SeedFinder, lists 47 strains, because it also counts older strains that are no longer sold.

Feminized photoperiods include White Widow, Northern Lights MoC (a Northern Lights line), Big Bud XXL, God’s Glue (from the Gorilla Glue family), Ultra White Amnesia and Mandarin Haze (both Amnesia Haze family), Mamacita’s Cookies, Mandarin Gelato, Zensation Gold, Ducci and Mars Mellow. The autoflowers include Auto Blue Amnesia, Autopilot XXL, Auto White Widow, Auto Northern Lights, Auto Cheese NL, Auto Blueberry Domina, Auto God’s Glue, Auto Sweet Donkey (Wedding Cake family) and Auto Zkittleberry.

The range is not limited to old classics: Mandarin Gelato (Gelato family), Auto Sweet Donkey (Wedding Cake family) and Mamacita’s Cookies (Girl Scout Cookies family) are in the current lineup. The catalog still leans on classics, and there are no regular seeds, because MoC focuses on feminized lines.

The CBD strains are CBD Star, Auto CBD Star, Cannabis Light and Auto Cannabis Light. If you are unsure which seed type fits your setup, our guide to feminized vs autoflower vs regular seeds explains the trade-offs.

Prices and Pack Sizes

Every strain comes in packs of 2, 5, 10 and 25 seeds. There are no single seeds: the €12.50 entry price buys two seeds. These are the regular prices we saw on October 22, 2026:

Strain (type)2 seeds5 seeds10 seeds25 seeds
White Widow (feminized)€12.50 (€6.25/seed)€25.00 (€5.00/seed)€45.00 (€4.50/seed)€101.00 (€4.04/seed)
Big Bud XXL (feminized)€15.00 (€7.50/seed)€30.00 (€6.00/seed)€54.00 (€5.40/seed)€121.50 (€4.86/seed)
Auto Blue Amnesia (autoflower)€19.00 (€9.50/seed)€38.00 (€7.60/seed)€68.00 (€6.80/seed)€153.00 (€6.12/seed)
God’s Glue (feminized)€22.00 (€11.00/seed)€44.00 (€8.80/seed)€80.00 (€8.00/seed)€180.00 (€7.20/seed)
Mandarin Gelato (feminized)€23.00 (€11.50/seed)€46.00 (€9.20/seed)€83.00 (€8.30/seed)€186.00 (€7.44/seed)

The cheapest seeds are the classics: White Widow, Northern Lights MoC, Auto White Widow and Auto Northern Lights all cost €12.50 for two seeds and €101 for 25 (€4.04 a seed). Newer strains such as Mandarin Gelato and Mars Mellow top out at €23 for two seeds. Larger packs cut the per-seed price by roughly a third. The five combo packs hold six seeds each (two seeds of three strains) and cost €38 to €49; MoC states savings of €3.50 to €8.50 compared with buying the 2-packs separately.

Two practical notes. The cart enforces a €25 minimum order, so a single 2-pack of White Widow is not enough on its own. And all orders are final once paid: the terms allow EU customers to return new, sealed items within two weeks of delivery, but orders from outside the EU cannot be returned or refunded.

Shipping by Region

The shipping page offers two kinds of service: registered mail (worldwide) and courier (EU and selected countries outside the EU). Both are tracked, and you get an email with the tracking number. Orders ship 24 to 48 hours after they are placed, excluding weekends and holidays; bank transfer orders ship once the payment arrives. The page says shipping starts at €10 in the EU and €9 elsewhere, with free registered mail on orders over €75. The page does not say which country parcels leave from.

Because rates depend on the destination, we priced a test cart at checkout on October 22, 2026 (no order placed):

DestinationRegistered mail, order under €75Registered mail, order over €75CourierQuoted delivery time
United States€12FreeNot offered15 to 30 days
Canada€15Free€35 (€27 over €75)15 to 30 days
United Kingdom€12FreeNot offered10 to 20 days
Australia€15Free€70 (€62 over €75)20 to 30 days
Germany€10Free€20 (€12 over €75)7 to 15 days (courier 2 to 5 working days)
Spain€8Free€14 (€8 over €75)7 to 15 days (courier 2 to 5 working days)

EU prices include VAT. The shipping page names UPS, FedEx, TNT and DHL as courier services; at checkout the courier option was labeled “Courier MBE”. Delivery times are MoC’s own estimates; it states it is not responsible for postal delays. Other regions: Middle East 25 to 35 days, rest of the world about 35 days.

Packaging. Seeds ship in a protective bubble envelope without their original breeder packs, marked only with the strain initials. MoC states there is no reference to cannabis, marijuana or Ministry of Cannabis on the parcel. If you need the original packs, you can ask, but MoC warns this may not be possible for every country. The shop also sells a plain t-shirt without logo, marketed “for better stealth shipping”.

Lost and damaged parcels. The shipping page promises that if a package has not arrived after 30 days, MoC will reship the order once for free. The Problems and Solutions page, which is part of the conditions, adds details: in Europe you can open a claim 21 days after shipping, outside Europe after 30 days, and service is limited to two shipments per order. Lost orders are reshipped, not refunded. A wrong or incomplete address voids the delivery promise. Crushed seeds are resent if you send photos of the damaged seeds and the packing material, together with the strain and quantity.

Shipping to the US does not make growing legal everywhere. Seed and cultivation laws differ by state, and the federal hemp definition is changing in stages between November 12 and December 11, 2026 (P.L. 119-37, section 781, as amended by P.L. 119-103), which may affect how cannabis seeds can be sold and shipped (Congressional Research Service summary). Check your state and local rules before you order.

Germination Guarantee: What MoC Actually Promises

There is no germination guarantee. The terms state: “Although we carefully select and test our seeds on germination rate, we do not give any guarantee, due to their living nature.” No germination percentage is advertised either.

What MoC does offer is a review process. According to the Problems and Solutions page, you send a full description of how you germinated the seeds: the medium (soil, rock wool, paper towel and so on), whether it was pre-fertilized, seed depth, temperature, and the amount and type of water. MoC then sends a possible diagnosis. If it concludes the seeds were the problem, it sends a replacement or a discount coupon, at its sole discretion. There is no refund, no published claim window and no set replacement formula. Seeds bought from a reseller need an invoice or receipt.

In practice: keep your order number, photograph each step and write down your method before you start, because the outcome depends entirely on MoC’s assessment. MoC says it tests all strains regularly; it publishes no germination test results or lab reports, so we could not verify that claim.

Payment Methods

The payment page lists five methods:

  • Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards, always charged in euros
  • International bank transfer in euros (account details appear on the order confirmation; the order ships once the money arrives, which can take 1 to 5 working days)
  • Bitcoin, with shipping right after payment confirmation
  • RIA money transfer, in euros
  • Cash by mail in euros, US dollars, Canadian dollars, Australian dollars or British pounds, with your order number in the envelope; MoC recommends registered mail and takes no responsibility for lost cash

PayPal is not offered. MoC says “Ministry of Cannabis” does not appear on your card statement or billing; the statement shows only its registered company name and the amount.

Deals, Loyalty and Discount Codes

As of October 2026, these are the ways to pay less at Ministry of Cannabis:

Free seeds on every order. The homepage promises 1 free seed on orders up to €50, 2 free seeds on orders up to €120 and 5 free seeds on orders of €120 and above. The free seeds are feminized and chosen by the MoC team, not by you.

Free shipping. Registered mail is free on orders over €75, which a 25-pack of any strain already passes.

Combo packs. The five combo packs are priced below the cost of the separate 2-packs (see prices above).

Discount codes. On October 22, 2026 we found no published Ministry of Cannabis coupon or promo code on the official site and no promotions page. The site has a newsletter sign-up, but it does not say whether subscribers get a discount. Codes posted on third-party coupon sites are not confirmed by MoC, so check them at checkout before you rely on them.

Loyalty program. None. There is no points or rewards scheme.

Customer Service

The contact page lists these channels:

  • Contact form on the website
  • Email: [email protected]
  • WhatsApp and Telegram at +34 610 477 747 (chat only, no calls)

There is no phone line and no published reply time. The written Problems and Solutions page is a plus: it sets out in advance what happens with a wrong address, crushed seeds, a missing parcel or a germination problem, so you know the rules before you order. The flip side is that most remedies are at MoC’s discretion and nothing is refunded outside the EU’s two-week return window.

On public complaint handling there is little to go on: the SmartCustomer page (formerly Sitejabber) for ministryofcannabis.com had no reviews on October 22, 2026.

Reputation

Independent review data is limited, but grower data exists:

  • GrowDiaries lists 93 grow diaries and 49 harvests of Ministry of Cannabis strains, with 43 reviews (checked October 22, 2026).
  • SeedFinder lists 47 MoC strains; 11 of them have user reviews, averaging 7.19 out of 10 (checked October 22, 2026).
  • SmartCustomer: no reviews (checked October 22, 2026).

On its own site, MoC shows high product ratings, for example Big Bud XXL at 4.95 out of 5 from 42 ratings, Auto Blue Amnesia at 4.97 from 33 and God’s Glue at 5.00 from 17. These are on-site scores, collected and shown by MoC itself, and the same goes for its testimonials page, so give them less weight than an independent platform.

Reddit discussion is sparse and mostly old. In a 2016 r/microgrowery thread about where to buy White Widow, Ministry of Cannabis was suggested and one commenter wrote that the genetics they got from MoC were healthy. In a July 2021 r/cannabiscultivation thread on US seed banks, two commenters said they had never heard of MoC or would not use it, without giving reasons. We found no recent, dated threads with first-hand order reports, so forum feedback plays no part in this score.

Website and Strain Information

The shop is simple and easy to use: four seed categories (feminized, autoflowering, CBD, mix of seeds), sorting by popularity, rating, price and date, and eight languages. Product pages list the sativa/indica ratio, flowering time, yield, THC and CBD level, flavor and effect; White Widow, for example, shows 8 to 10 weeks of flowering, 450 g per square meter indoors and 18% THC. What is missing are terpene profiles and lab reports.

The weak spots are small: some policy pages contain typos, the shipping page names courier brands that checkout does not show, and the cart only reveals the €25 minimum order once you are in it. Policy pages are otherwise clear and easy to find.

Who Ministry of Cannabis Suits, and Who Should Look Elsewhere

A good fit if you: want to buy directly from a breeder rather than a reseller; are happy with classic feminized and autoflower strains such as White Widow, Northern Lights, Big Bud and Amnesia lines; order €75 or more and want free tracked shipping to the US, Canada, the UK, Australia or Europe; or want discreet payment options such as Bitcoin or cash by mail.

Look elsewhere if you: want a written germination guarantee; need fast delivery to North America (15 to 30 days quoted, no courier to the US); want regular seeds or a large, trend-driven catalog; want to pay with PayPal; or value a loyalty program and published discount codes.

Ministry of Cannabis scores 6.2/10 overall. Shipping and Delivery is the strongest category at 7.0/10: worldwide registered mail with tracking, free over €75 to every destination we tested, low base rates and a written reship promise, held back by 15 to 30 day estimates for North America and no courier option for the US or UK. Customer Service earns 6.5/10 for email, a contact form and WhatsApp or Telegram chat plus a clear Problems and Solutions page, minus the lack of a phone line, published reply times and refunds outside the EU.

Price and Value lands at 6.5/10: classic strains from €4.04 a seed, free seeds on every order and free shipping over €75, but no codes, no loyalty program and a €25 minimum order. Website and UX gets 6.2/10 for clear product pages with grow specs in eight languages, without terpene data or lab reports. Seed Quality and Germination and Product Range both score 5.5/10. MoC has a long breeding record and real grow data on GrowDiaries, but it explicitly gives no germination guarantee and publishes no test results. The range of 26 feminized and autoflowering strains is focused but small, with no regular seeds.

If you like the idea of buying straight from a Spanish breeder but want a different catalog, Philosopher Seeds and Delicious Seeds are the closest alternatives in our reviews, as is World of Seeds, another Spanish breeder. For a long-running European breeder with its own webshop outside Spain, see our Dutch Passion review. Each review has its own checked shipping, guarantee and price details.

Final Verdict

Ministry of Cannabis is a legitimate, long-running breeder shop: a registered Spanish company runs it, the policies are published in detail, and checkout largely matches the shipping page, apart from small differences in courier naming and the Spanish rate. Shipping worldwide is cheap and free over €75, payment is discreet, and classic strains such as White Widow and Northern Lights cost about €4 a seed in 25-packs.

The gaps are concrete. There is no germination guarantee, only a discretionary review that can end in a replacement or a coupon. The catalog is 26 strains, delivery to North America is quoted at 15 to 30 days, and there are no discount codes or loyalty points. If those limits work for you, MoC is a reasonable choice for classic feminized and autoflower genetics. To compare it with the rest of the field, see our seedbank review hub.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Ministry of Cannabis based, and who owns it?

Ministry of Cannabis is based in Barcelona, Spain. Its webshop is operated by Web Experts Management S.L.U., Ronda de Sant Pere 58, 08010 Barcelona. The brand says it was founded in 2007.

Does Ministry of Cannabis ship to the USA?

Yes. US orders ship by registered mail for €12, or free on orders over €75, with 15 to 30 days quoted for delivery. Seed and cultivation laws differ by state, so check your local rules before you order.

Does Ministry of Cannabis ship to Canada, the UK and Australia?

Yes. In our checkout test, registered mail cost €15 to Canada and Australia and €12 to the UK, and was free over €75. Canada and Australia can also choose a paid courier; the UK cannot.

Is Ministry of Cannabis legit?

Yes. The shop is run by a registered Spanish company with a published address and VAT number, has sold its own strains since at least 2010, and its grow results appear in 93 diaries on GrowDiaries. Independent review platforms hold little data, and there is no germination guarantee.

Does Ministry of Cannabis have a germination guarantee?

No. Its terms say it does not give any germination guarantee. If seeds fail, you can send a detailed description of your method; if MoC finds the seeds were at fault, it sends a replacement or a coupon at its discretion. Failed seeds are not refunded.

Visa and Mastercard (charged in euros), international bank transfer, Bitcoin, RIA money transfer and cash by mail in euros, US dollars, Canadian dollars, Australian dollars or British pounds. PayPal is not accepted.

Are there Ministry of Cannabis discount codes?

On October 22, 2026 the official site published no coupon or promo code. Every order gets 1 to 5 free feminized seeds depending on the order value, shipping is free over €75, and combo packs cost less than buying the strains separately.

What changed in this update. We rechecked every claim against Ministry of Cannabis’ own policy pages, its live webshop and a checkout test on October 22, 2026. The review now reflects that MoC gives no germination guarantee, that the shop sells 26 strains in packs of 2 to 25 seeds, and what shipping actually costs to the US, Canada, the UK and Australia. We also added the €25 minimum order, the full payment list and current independent grower data. The score moved from 5.8 to 6.2 as a result.
