Weed Seeds Express (WSE, also written WeedSeedsExpress) is a Dutch seedbank from Haarlem that sells its own line of feminized, autoflower and a handful of regular cannabis seeds through separate stores for Europe, the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. US orders ship from inside the United States, free above $100. Our verdict: a legitimate shop with strong customer feedback and good European prices, held back by US prices roughly double the European ones and a “germination guarantee” that is really extra seeds plus case-by-case help. We score it 6.7/10.

Buying Weed Seeds Express from the USA
Weed Seeds Express runs a separate US store at weedseedsexpress.com/us with prices in dollars. Its shipping page says orders are sent from abroad “except for US and NL orders”, and US product pages state “Shipped discreetly from NY, USA”. The US store ships by USPS for $9.95, free above $100, with 2 to 8 business days quoted at checkout (product page text promises 2 to 5), and also serves the US Virgin Islands and the US Minor Outlying Islands (10 to 26 business days, free above $150 for the Virgin Islands). WSE gives a US address for cash, check and money order payments in its payment instructions, and a US phone number, +1 541-241-2212.
The catch is price. The same seeds cost about twice as much on the US store as on the European one: a 10-pack of White Widow is $109 in the US against €49 in Europe. US delivery addresses are served only by the US store, so US buyers pay US prices. Before you order, also read the legal note in the shipping section below: a US address on the shipping list does not make growing legal in every state.
Who Weed Seeds Express Is
According to its Our Story page, WSE’s history goes back to 2005 in Haarlem, a city west of Amsterdam with a long coffee shop history, when a group of grower friends started sharing genetics; the page then calls Weedseedsexpress their “brand-new endeavor”. The current shop and company appear to date from 2018: the weedseedsexpress.com domain was registered in August 2018. The company named in its terms and conditions is WSE International B.V., registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 73226998, and OpenCorporates lists it as active, with its head office in Haarlem. The site gives two different Haarlem street addresses (Waarderweg 19 in the footer, Izaäk Enschedéweg 42A in the terms), plus a PO box (PO Box 5445, 2000 GK Haarlem) as postal and return address.
WSE does not resell other breeders. Its FAQ says “our seeds are bred by our own team of breeders”, which is also why seeds do not arrive in branded breeder packs. That keeps parcels discreet, but it also means you cannot buy Barney’s Farm, Dutch Passion or other known breeders here.
Catalog and Seed Types
On October 22, 2026 the US store listed 370 products: 244 feminized photoperiod strains, 121 feminized autoflowers and 5 regular strains, with 34 products in the CBD collection. The lineup mixes classics such as White Widow, Northern Lights Auto, AK-47 and Blue Dream with newer names like Permanent Marker, Mimosa, Godfather OG, Future #1, Fat Bastard and Blackberry Moonrocks, which the homepage shows as bestsellers.
Collections help you filter by trait: high THC, high yield, fast flowering, beginner strains, 45-day autoflowers, outdoor autoflowers, landrace, indica, sativa and more. Product pages list genetics, THC and CBD, flowering time, yield, height and climate. WSE does not sell mix packs or pick-and-mix. Prices and Pack Sizes
Most strains come in packs of 3, 5 and 10 seeds. Standard 5-packs include 1 free seed and 10-packs include 2 free seeds. Strains in the current promotion are sold as 3+3 and 5+5 instead. Prices fall into three tiers per store. These are the prices we saw on October 22, 2026:

Per-seed prices above count the free seeds. Without them, the US store runs from $10.90 a seed (a $109 10-pack) to $21.67 (a $65 3-pack), and the EU store from €4.90 to €11.33. Canadian and Australian prices are higher still: the White Widow 10-pack is C$129 and A$139. The best value is a 5+5 BOGO pack, for example White Widow 5+5 at $79 ($7.90 a seed) or €34 in Europe.
Returns are possible within 14 days of delivery, but only for unopened, undamaged items, and you pay the return postage, per the return policy. The return policy promises a refund within 5 business days of receiving the parcel, while the separate refund policy says within 14 days.
Shipping by Region
Delivery times and free-shipping thresholds below come from the regional stores and product pages. The transit-time table on WSE’s shipping page itself was empty when we checked, so use the estimate shown at checkout.
United States. Domestic USPS shipping (product pages say from New York), 2 to 8 business days, $9.95 or free over $100. Details are in the section above.
Canada. The Canadian store ships tracked to Canada in 5 to 15 business days for C$9.95, free over C$120. Parcels are sent from abroad; WSE does not say from where.
United Kingdom. The UK store ships tracked in 2 to 8 business days for £5.95, free over £55, with the parcel sent from abroad.
Europe. Orders ship from the Netherlands. Delivery inside the Netherlands is tracked and takes 1 to 2 business days (€3.95, free over €50). Most other EU countries, including Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Poland and Sweden, get free untracked shipping on every order (5 to 11 business days); tracked delivery (2 to 8 business days) costs from €4.95 and is free over €55. The EU product pages put it plainly: “Shipping without tracking is always free, and if your order is over €55, you can select free tracked delivery too.” A few countries have only a threshold-based option: Belgium, Greece, Hungary, Slovakia, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Malta (free over €55), Latvia (€100) and Switzerland (€50). WSE also ships to Norway, Iceland, Ukraine, Serbia and several other non-EU countries.
Australia and New Zealand. Untracked post is free and takes 10 to 26 business days. Tracked delivery (10 to 21 business days) costs A$20 in Australia, free over A$180, and NZ$9.95 in New Zealand, free over NZ$180. Australian buyers should know the risk: on October 20, 2026 an Australian customer wrote on Reviews.io that the order was stopped by Australian customs and no refund was given. That is one report, but import rules for cannabis seeds in Australia are strict.
Dispatch, tracking and packaging. WSE aims to ship within 24 hours on business days after payment is confirmed. Parcels go out by regular post in stealth packaging inside a discreet envelope, packed moisture-proof. Track and Trace is available for most countries, and you can follow your order on its order status page or ask the ExpressBot chatbot. The shipping page limits the delivery guarantee to tracked shipments and says WSE always starts an investigation when a parcel does not arrive, to agree “the best possible solution” with the customer. The product pages go further: “In rare cases where your seeds get damaged or lost during shipping, we’ll replace them for free!” The two pages do not say the same thing, so choose tracked delivery if you want to be covered under both. One recent Reviews.io customer (October 19, 2026) described an untracked order that went missing and was resent with tracking at no extra charge. For damaged seeds, the FAQ asks for clear photos and promises a free replacement.
Shipping to the US does not make growing legal everywhere. Seed and cultivation laws differ by state, and the federal hemp definition is changing in stages between November 12 and December 11, 2026 (P.L. 119-37, section 781, as amended by P.L. 119-103), which may affect how cannabis seeds can be sold and shipped (Congressional Research Service summary). Check your state and local rules before you order.
Germination Guarantee: What WSE Actually Promises
Every product page shows a “Germination Guarantee” badge. The terms behind it, in the guarantee tab on each product page, are short: WSE says its seeds have “an average germination rate of 96%”, adds free seeds to every standard pack (not to 3-packs or BOGO deals) so you can still reach a full count, and asks you to contact support “so we can work towards a solution” if seeds fail. Its Our Story page gives a lower figure (“over 90%”) and speaks of 20% extra seeds.
So this is not a replacement guarantee. There is no written promise to replace failed seeds, no claim window, no stated proof requirements and no list of exclusions. Some customers on Reviews.io report that failed seeds were replaced, but this is goodwill, not a written policy. The 96% is a rate claimed by WSE, not a guarantee, and we could not verify it independently. If you buy, document your germination (method, dates, photos) and keep your order number before you contact support.
Payment Methods
Payment methods are listed on the payment processing page of each store, and they differ by region:
- US: Visa and Mastercard, crypto (via CoinGate, with Binance Pay), Venmo, cash, check and money order (the last three mailed to the US address)
- Europe: credit card and Apple Pay (3D Secure), crypto, cash by registered mail, and bank transfer to a Dutch account (EU payment page)
- Canada: Visa and Mastercard, Interac e-Transfer, wire transfer, crypto and cash
- UK: credit card and Apple Pay, British bank transfer, crypto and cash
- Australia: domestic bank transfer, cash and crypto; no card payments
WSE says the descriptor on your bank statement makes no reference to cannabis. PayPal is not offered in any region.
Deals, Loyalty and Discount Codes
As of October 2026, these are the ways to pay less at Weed Seeds Express:
Current sale. The “Croptober Sale” offers 3+3 and 5+5 buy-one-get-one deals on high-THC strains.
Coupon codes. The official coupon codes page listed no active codes on October 22, 2026. WSE warns that codes found on other websites “might not work” and says it releases codes on holidays and by email.
Newsletter and free seeds. Signing up for the newsletter gives 10% off. Standard 5-packs and 10-packs include 1 and 2 free seeds.
Loyalty. WSE lists no points or rewards program. It does run an affiliate program for websites.

Six-day support with a chatbot and a US number is more than many seedbanks offer. On public complaint handling, recent Reviews.io comments are mostly positive about support, including the reshipped parcel mentioned above and a customer who wrote on October 16, 2026 that a problem was solved promptly. We found no Better Business Bureau profile.
Reputation: Weed Seeds Express Reviews
Reviews.io. The 4.7 out of 5 shown on WSE’s site comes from Reviews.io, an independent review platform. On October 22, 2026 the page showed 4.67 out of 5 from 3,161 reviews, with 93% of reviewers recommending the shop. Reviews.io is independent, but shops can invite their own customers to leave reviews, so treat the score as customer feedback rather than a random sample. Positive reviews mention fast, discreet delivery and good germination; recent negative or mixed ones mention seeds that did not germinate (October 5, 2026), damaged seeds in a pack (October 8, 2026) and the Australian customs seizure (October 20, 2026).
Other platforms. SeedFinder lists Weed Seed Express as “gray” (little information) with two user reviews from 2021: one very positive, one from a customer who said they never received the order or the replacement. The SmartCustomer page had no reviews, and a BBB search returned no profile (all checked October 22, 2026).
Forums. We found little forum discussion we could verify. A November 11, 2021 post on r/cannabiscultivation claimed that a plant sold as Granddaddy OG feminized did not match that strain. It is a single, five-year-old report.
Website and Grow Resources
The site is well organized, with regional stores in local currency, trait-based collections, detailed strain pages with grower reviews, and an active blog with grow diaries and beginner guides. For the basics, our own guide on how to grow cannabis at home is a good start.
Consistency is the weak spot. The shipping page promises a transit-time table that is empty and limits the delivery guarantee to tracked parcels while product pages promise free replacement of lost seeds, US product pages promise delivery in 2 to 5 business days from a New York warehouse while checkout quotes 2 to 8, the coupon page lists no codes, the site shows two Dutch phone numbers and two different Haarlem street addresses, the germination rate is “over 90%” on one page and 96% on another, and the return and refund pages give different refund deadlines. None of this is serious on its own, but it makes the policies harder to rely on.
Who Weed Seeds Express Suits, and Who Should Look Elsewhere
A good fit if you: live in Europe and want cheap house genetics with free untracked shipping in most countries (tracked free over €55); live in the US and value domestic shipping in 2 to 8 days, especially during a BOGO sale; want to pay with crypto, cash or (in the US) Venmo; or like a big choice of autoflowers.
Look elsewhere if you: want a written replacement guarantee; want seeds from well-known third-party breeders; buy in the US and compare on price, since the same packs cost about twice the European price; need PayPal; or live in Australia and cannot accept the customs risk.

Weed Seeds Express scores 6.7/10 overall. Shipping and Delivery and Customer Service share the top spot at 7.0/10. Shipping earns it with domestic US delivery, its own stores for Canada, the UK and Australia, free untracked shipping in most of Europe and fast dispatch, minus conflicting delivery-guarantee terms, paid tracking below the thresholds and long, risky delivery to Australia. Customer service benefits from a 24/7 chatbot, a 24-hour contact form, phone lines in the Netherlands and the US, six-day opening hours and mostly positive recent feedback on problem handling.
Seed Quality and Germination lands at 6.8/10: customer reports on germination are largely positive and standard packs include extra seeds, but there is no replacement guarantee and the claimed rate is unverified. Product Range gets 6.6/10 for 370 house strains with a strong autoflower line, held back by only five regular strains and no third-party breeders. Price and Value is 6.0/10: European prices are low and BOGO packs are good value, but US, Canadian and Australian prices are much higher and there is no loyalty program. Website and UX stays at 6.0/10 because of the empty shipping table and conflicting details across policy pages.

Final Verdict
Weed Seeds Express is a legitimate Dutch seedbank with a registered company behind it (trading under this name since about 2018), its own genetics, a large autoflower range and thousands of mostly positive reviews on Reviews.io. For European growers it is good value: free untracked shipping in most countries, free tracked delivery over €55 and 10-packs from €49. US growers get domestic shipping in 2 to 8 days and flexible payment options, including cash and Venmo.
The weaker points are concrete. The “germination guarantee” is extra seeds and a promise to look for a solution, not a replacement policy; US, Canadian and Australian prices are far above European ones; there is no loyalty program; and several policy pages contradict each other. If you buy during a BOGO sale and accept those limits, WSE is a reasonable choice.
