Except for its relatively short height, Amnesi-K has the growth characteristics of a typical Sativa. It has long and narrow light-green leaves sprouting from widely spaced stems, so its foliage is not particularly dense. That gives it a stronger resistance to mold and mildew since there are fewer crevices for excess moisture to accumulate. It also means the plant does not require too much pruning or trimming.
Its size should not cause too many problems indoors as long the grow room’s ceiling is a standard height. Nevertheless, keep a close eye at the end of the vegetative stage because this strain tends to double or even triple in bulk just when it starts to flower. Ensure that the top of the plant maintains a safe distance from the grow lamp to prevent light burn. Alternatively, use training techniques to control its height.
The least traumatic strategy would be a combination of Low-Stress Training (bending the branches) and the Screen of Green (ScroG) method. Not only will that limit the plant’s stretch by encouraging it to expand horizontally instead of vertically, but it also increases the number of bud sites that can receive adequate light. Along with proper feeding and watering, an impressive yield of 550 grams (19 ounces) per square meter can be achieved in 9 to 10 weeks.
Outdoor cultivation can also be an option if the chosen location is predominately warm, sunny, and semi-humid. Since Sativa strains originate from the tropics, they prefer similar climates. In such an environment, Amnesi-K can grow to a maximum of 180 cm (6 feet) and produce 600 to 700 grams (21 to 25 ounces) of usable bud per plant. The best time to harvest would be from late September until early October.
