Slurricane is not picky about its environment, so it thrives in both indoor and outdoor environments. Indoor growers would have no problems confining this strain in small spaces as its Indica stature is relatively compact with a height ranging between 80 cm and 130 cm. It is also quite resistant to pests and pathogens, so that is one less thing to worry about, of course, as long as you manage the humidity levels within the optimal range. The only drawback with the strain is its long harvest time, but if you use low-stress training techniques, you can significantly cut down the time to 7 to 9 weeks, and harvest time would fall somewhere between late September and early October.
Indoor cultivation
When grown indoors, make sure that the plant receives plenty of light for a minimum of 18 hours and up to 20 hours. An HID would be the bare minimum. Outdoor cultivation
Slurricane plants love sunlight, so when growing outdoors, make sure you plant them in a patch of land that receives plenty of sunlight. Also, keep in mind that this plant thrives best in a warm, temperate, Mediterranean-like climate. You would also have no problem keeping it away from the nosy neighbor’s eyes because these plants are quite compact, even when grown outdoors.
To speed up its growth, feed it generous amounts of nutrients and use low stress training techniques. It will be ready for harvest in early October in the northern hemisphere. Outdoor plants can yield up to a 500 grams per plant as long as it is well-tended.

With enough TLC, it offers a yield of up to 400 grams per square meter when planted indoors, and between 50 and 120 grams per plant when cultivated outdoors. Given its fast growth and reasonable yields, you can easily crop in more buds as it is possible to harvest twice per year.
Should I cure the Slurricane buds I harvested?
If you wish to get the most out of your Slurricane harvest, you must cure the buds properly. Do this by letting the harvested plants dry for seven to ten days before curing. Doing so removes any remaining moisture from them. Only then can you proceed to cure your buds. And when curing the buds in jars, be patient and let them sit there longer. The longer they are stored in the jars, the higher quality the buds will be when smoked.
Soil or Hydroponics? Which is the best medium to use?
Slurricane plants will thrive regardless of the medium you use as long as the environmental conditions are suitable. However, as a general rule, beginners are advised to start their cannabis cultivation journey with organic soil as this medium acts as a buffer that prevents frequent pH fluctuations. That way, maintaining the pH within the ideal range will be one less thing for growers to worry about.
On the other hand, seasoned growers could opt for a hydroponics setup, which is known for its incredible efficiency that leads to explosive growth. With hydroponics, the nutrients are mixed directly with the water, so the roots can readily access them right there and then. However, water as a medium does not provide the stable buffer system that soil can offer.
