To say that Big Bomb is a heavy yielder is an understatement. Not only does it supply a record amount of skunky weed, but it also produces it in record time. Although this plant is technically a hybrid, its flowering period is as fast as an Indica-dom’s. In as little as 8 weeks, it can generate an eye-popping abundance of gigantic, rock-hard buds that are sprinkled with vivid yellow-orange pistils to break up the plant’s monochromatic emerald-green shade. There will also be a thick layer of crystalline trichomes to give it a shimmering appearance.
Furthermore, the plant is structured like an Indica, and it does not become excessively tall. The broad fan leaves create thick foliage that has to be pruned occasionally, though. Otherwise, the shaggy leafage might trap excess moisture, inviting mold and mildew. Trimming the non-essential leaves and twigs will also encourage the plant to reroute its energy to make the colas fatter.

An efficient ventilation system is recommended to keep the temperature within a 21 and 27-degree Celsius range (70 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit) and relative humidity (RH) at 40 to 50%. Don’t forget to install a carbon filter to absorb the pungent odor, especially during the budding phase.
But if you fortunate enough to have access to a garden far from neighbors’ prying eyes and curious noses, you should definitely rear Big Bomb outdoors. For such a small shrub – only 90 to 140 cm tall (3 to 4.5 feet) – it can generate a spectacular 1500-gram yield (53 ounces). In late September, when it starts to bloom, it will need some bamboo stakes to support the additional weight of the buds. To preserve their quality, make sure the plant gets plenty of sunlight and is protected from rain.
