What are the Skunk Kush varieties available on the market and which is better?
This cultivar is available both as regular and feminized seeds. Regular seeds tend to be cheaper in price and are useful if you are trying to create hybrids, as these seeds produce both male and female plants. When pollination happens, you will get seeds instead of smokeable buds.
On the other hand, if the purpose of the cultivation is to produce plenty of top-quality buds for consumption, then feminized seeds are for you. As the word feminized suggests, it only produces female plants, which takes away the possibility of pollination. You would save time with the feminized variety because, then, you would not have to spend time identifying and removing the male plants from the garden.
What is the ideal indoor growing environment for Skunk Kush seeds?
When it comes to indoor growing, three factors must always be kept in check: pH level, temperature, and relative humidity (RH) levels.
First, the pH level of the soil substrate must be within 6 to 6.8. For a soilless garden (i.e., hydroponics), pH levels should sit between 5.5 and 6.5.
As for the temperature, make sure it stays within the range of 21 to 26°C (70 to 80°F) during the day and 18 to 21°C (65 to 70°F) at night.
Lastly, RH levels should be maintained at 65 to 70% when growing seedlings, then reduced to about 60% once the seedlings enter the vegetative phase. Finally, cannabis plants in the flowering stage should be kept in a grow room with an RH level of about 40 to 50%.
