The Amsterdam Seed Center started in 2011, operating online and in brick and mortar. Although relatively new, the seed shop has already established a good reputation by combining its massive selection of seeds with outstanding customer service. Still, more needs to be done for this company to be considered one of the best seed superstores. Find out why through our full review below.

Products

Amsterdam Seed Center’s huge inventory of 1500 different varieties is sourced from over 40 seedbanks, including Barney’s Farm, Blimburn, CBD Crew, Nirvana Seeds, Royal Queen Seeds, and Sensi Seeds. With such a vast collection, it’s critical to bear in mind that seed quality depends on the breeder. Additionally, unlike other retailers, it doesn’t offer a germination guarantee, but the company is known to ship replacements for seeds found to be defective.

Apart from seeds, Amsterdam Seed Center also offers other products, such as vaporizers, CBD oil, grinders, and t-shirts, among other things.

Shipping and Delivery

Amsterdam Seed Center ships globally, except to Turkey, Norway, Bulgaria, and Israel. Standard mail is the cheapest but won’t include tracking information, so choosing between the two registered shipping options may be best. Should the parcel gets lost in transit due to internal error, registered shipping allows the seed bank to investigate and possibly send a reshipment. Note that the company does not hold itself accountable for packages intercepted by customs and non-delivery due to any incorrect information provided by the buyer.

All orders are dispatched in plain envelopes without the company name or any indication of its contents. While that may be discreet enough for many countries, some destinations may need an added layer of stealth, which this seed bank does not offer.

Customer Service

Get in touch with Amsterdam Seed Center via phone (during open hours) or e-mail. If you are somewhere around Amsterdam, you may also drop by their physical store for some face-to-face assistance. Many online reviews for the company mention just how helpful, efficient, and professional their customer service team is, so don’t hesitate to reach out for any concerns.

Ease of Website Navigation

The Amsterdam Seed Center website looks clean and uncrowded. Because it’s also well-organized, navigating through it and going from one category to another is a breeze. The seeds are grouped in popular classifications, and the portal’s seed finder feature is one of the nicest ones we’ve tried. What’s missing is a bestsellers option or list, which could help a lot of undecided potential buyers.

Price and Special Offers

The Amsterdam Seed Center catalog offers seeds at various price points and some at a discounted rate. As with other sellers, the price per seed is lower in larger packs. The company also runs promotions, but don’t expect to be blown away. As of writing, they only have two, both with certain conditions.

Payment

Amsterdam Seed Center accepts payments through European credit cards (Visa or MasterCard), online banking (iDeal, Giropay, Sofortbanking, and Bancontact/Mister Cash), bank transfers, Bitcoin, or cash.

Thank you for checking our reviews! If you recently bought cannabis seeds from an online store, we’d love to hear about your experience and what you think of their products and services. This will only take a few minutes but will save fellow weed growers from a lot of headaches later.  It can also determine which seedbanks we should continue to work with.

Thanks again!
